Sometimes I feel like depression sort of reboots your brain. After whatever amount of time with depression doing all the little things like cooking, walking, driving, showering, sleeping, running errands, going out to eat, etc that people take for granted feels bigger. People don't seem to get why doing that can feel like such an accomplishment but it is. Don't ever feel bad about that. I really enjoyed this vlog!

I finally did a couple nights ago and it made me realize I’m starting to take baby steps towards picking myself back up. It’s perfectly fine to get emotional ❤ I swear I cried every day for months after my mom died. I saw this grief advice on a TED Talk that grief is like a ball. In the couple of months after it’s fucking huge in this small square you have it in, but as time goes on it shrinks to something you can hold and carry with you. Your grief and love will always be with you and eventually it will be something you can carry. ❤ Your organizing was good! I fucking looooove your vanity!
This vlog is so comforting. Everything from your aesthetic to the art to your skin troubles and the need to organize; it's reassuring seeing a fellow human being go through life. It's nice to be able to say "omg I do that too!" and know you're not alone. Happy to see you where you are and excited to see where you'll continue to go on your journey 😊

Recently I started to do yoga and cooking for myself as well and damn... one night when i made something especially delicious i started crying. it feels nice to be able to do the things you could do before. even if its little by little.

Maybe for the area where you have your bags and josie's leashes, you can use a large coat cabinet with drawers. Sometimes having things enclosed or not showing can make the area clean/more put together :)

I gave up this year lol I just vaccuumed VERY well and gave up on the rest of the house
The trick w/ drawers at least for me - is everything has to go in the drawer - the only stuff on my vanity surface is decor
