Es ist für den zweiten Versuch eine enorme Steigerung im Design und Arbeitstechnik feststellbar, oder?
Wow, ein gechopter VW-Käfer. :-)So einen habe ich auch noch rumliegen, nur ist der aus Esche und Handgeschnitzt.

Aus Esche zu schnitzen ist ja nicht einfach.
Wenn ich mal wieder mehr Zeit haben sollte, schnitze ich auch noch mal was, vielleicht was aus Speckstein, ähnlich dem hier: feines-aus-wuppertal.blogspot.de/2012/01/artenschutz-eisvogel-aus-speckstein.html
Och Esche geht.
Darf jetzt aus Eiche ein Tiefrelief-Bild machen und aus Douglasie ein Kreuz 57x43,5cm (das möchte ein Bekannter für seine Schwiegereltern haben)
Speckstein ist ein gut zu verarbeitender Werkstoff, habe damit vor jahren mal etwas gebastelt. :-)

Für die Eiche brauchst Du ordenlich scharfes Werkzeug.
Alles andere ist kein Problem.
Smile, das weis ich. Ich schärfe meine Beitel, nach jeder Benutzung. Habe mir jetzt mal ein 10tlg. Japanische Stechbeitel gekauft, mal schauen wie die sind. Darf Sie noch überarbeiten (Griff schleifen und ölen, die Zwinge oben anpassen, Beitel schleifen, usw.)

Mit guten Stechbeitel kann man schon tolle Sachen werkeln.
Vor Jahren habe ich mal(einigermaßen erfolgreich) versucht die Heilige Familie mit einem einzigen Stechbeitel, quasi als "Handicap", zu stechen/zu schnitzen.

hallo, toll gemacht! Wenn man so was machen will, wo bekommt man solche Achsen für die Räder her ?
Aus dem Bastel- & Hobbybedarf kriegt man die Achsen her.
