@IronByron1958 Hey mate, its used for irrigation control as intended. I live in australia and purchased this model from local supplier and are using smartdial controller. I appears your right it does not have the performance im looking for. Summer downpour over 20mm rain and no activation on 3mm setting. I put the cork segment in a glass of water for an hour then reassembled and still no activation on lowest setting! I have now purchased an optical sensor.
whats the deal with this thing? I purchased this model and installed 20mm of rain last night and sprinklers are still on this morn? removed top and soaked in a glass of water for an hour reassembled to 3mm (lowest setting) and still play in the switch before controller says "SEN" this isnt working.
@IronByron1958 thanks for the reply Iron, sensor says SEN when I press the switch...this thing is useless. I have purchased an optical sensor which can shut off the water with 1 drop if needs be. Time to get rid of this junk.
Thank you so much. Working as intended!

What does the yellow cable do? I see you leave it free as did my irrigation system installer. I'm just curious why it is present out of the box?
