    Hi Wade it's always so refreshing getting a video from you. Now I won't be so scared to repot my paphs thank you😊😊. And what amount of light do they need to bloom like oncidium, phals , catts or what?

    • @wadesorchids7219
      @wadesorchids7219  4 года назад +2

      They seem to like more than Phals. I'd say Oncidium light will do nicely, as long as strong sunshine doesn't burn them.

    Hi wade. You mentioned that the green leafed paphs are potted a bit different. How would you go about potting those and what type of media if different?

    • @tara_27244
      @tara_27244 3 года назад

      This was my question for the multi floral type of Paphs (like the Rothschild types) how the repotting varies from the method shown here.

  • @keepsmiling704

    How do your paphs respond with using Orchiata with a tsp of dolomite lime .

    • @wadesorchids7219
      @wadesorchids7219  4 года назад +1

      I use Kiwi bark which uses the same bark but is prepared a bit differently. Unless I see a lot of evidence that a particular species needs extra lime I don't add anything. I like simple processes. :)

      I buy Kiwi bark from Fred. I have to buy a pallet at a time (40 bags) to get a decent price delivered but it’s worth it.

    Where do you get the pots?
    Why would you stick it back in the same pot? Whats the point of repotting if you put it in the same pot?
