Hi, im from quito, the toilet flushing thing is proved to be fake, i hate they shoe that to tourists, its not like one meter diference is going to change how it works, you need to go mch further to notice the difference.

No problems, but a couple of my friends did have altitude sickness. Just take it easy 24-48 hours
