What’s up dude? I just got a used seaside and it has about a 3inch gash on the top. I wanted to ask if I cut that open and sand it, can I use that solor rez ? Do I need q cell or anything else? I fixed a bunch of polyester boards but didn’t know about the epoxy. Didn’t want to mess it up as I really want to get riding on it. Thanks
What's up Shaun! In my experience with this stuff it should still be fine for a 3 inch gash, but for a few extra dollars they have another solarez product that's a little more heavy duty called the Epoxy Microlite Filler. It's similar to q cell, but it's an all in one tube just like the kit I used in the video and literally the exact same steps. I'd recommend going with that since the ding is on the top of the board in case your foot is constantly putting pressure on it or if you occasionally land on the ding. Hope that helps!
