If the KA has a dizzy. Set the base timing like 2-4 degrees retarded. And run 91 at minimum. Keep fuel rail pressure at 60-80psi max. Think it will live a while longer like that and keep it a bit more cool while drifting. Just my 2 cents
You only retard timing when it's close to knock. Advancing the timing keeps it cooler.

You don’t need to be cranking up fuel pressure if the regulator has a boost reference line off of it. It will increase as boost increases. It will be a vacuum line off the regulator. Hopefully u see this comment!

As a former IS300 owner, the fact that y’all found one at a junkyard with that much stuff still left on it is a pretty rare find, at least in my area. Got lucky and came across a sport design that still had everything on it and got a steal on some sweet emblems and titanium lens lights.
I’ve had a couple is300s one factory manual and one auto. Still love the platform, I wouldn’t mind coming up on one again. And a white one? So gorgeous.

Great idea Put the colorado divetrain in the e36 and put the 6.0 back in the colorado and have the e36 as a pro style car i think u could really kill the game especially while the drivetrain is already out and the colorado is still ls swapped and dope

Higher boost = higher knock risk. Retarding timing helps prevent this by lowering peak pressures and temps. Needs an ECU.
