And yet, the Zona Colonial is a living city, with an active nightlife and regular festivals and events.
👉The first time I visited Santo Domingo I was too busy to take in any of the city's natural beauty. My friends and I checked into our hotel late and went straight to the beach. I spent most of the next day with my face in the sand, too tired to walk anywhere, let alone around the city. But I returned to Santo Domingo a few months later and I was determined to walk around the city.

Cuando será que en la zona colonial en santo domingo van a enterrar todos los cable eléctrico y telefónico, que lo único que hacen es que la calle se cea fea , ya es hora que en nuestro país en bellescan las calles, y más una zona turística hay que recuperar la estética de la zona y las calles, para que la gente que nos visitan se lleven una buena imagen de nuestro país, que viva quisqueya 🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴💪💪

Para ser una zona turística esta muy mal cuidada y los ayuntamientos no hacen nada para proteger esa zona , y más con la historia y los años que tienen, si fuera otro país estarían cuidadalo con la palma de la manos , yo no entiendo porque nuestro gobierno y ayuntamientos no hacen una comisión y viajan a España para que vean como preservar y mantener las zonas históricas y como manterla limpieza con las máquinas que tienen, pero como solo le interesan robar

Porque siempre aprece uno metiendo la cuchara y aguando la fiesta, si no vas a decir algo bueno mejor no opine. Es sumamente hermosa e interesante nuestra Zona Colonial, es una de las ciudades más antiguas de América, siempre la están restaurando pero con mucha delicadeza y cuidado para no perder su esencia natural ya que es una ciudad de más de 500 años, y por eso es que lla ma la atención a todo el mundo y los turistas se quedan fascinados pero hay algunos ignorantes que no conocen de esto, donde tú estás viendo que está sucia, al contrario los turistas dicen que la mantienen en óptimas condiciones, pero somos los mismos dominicanos los que nos discriminamos, siempre buscándole la quinta pata al gato, uffff uffff
