As soon as the ber-months kick in (so SeptemBER 1), everything transforms into christmas; the malls, songs on the radio, etc. I’m already finished with my tree and I think I’ve watched your videos long enough to know to follow our color palette (which I did! Yey to me!). Looking forward to more content from you as I continue to decorate for the holidays!
Samantha Kwait we are not big with halloween, and we don’t have thanksgiving as well. Christmas is the biggest holiday we have (given that we are mostly catholics). We decorate from september up to mid-january! 😊
So I picked a color scheme and did a little shopping yesterday. My family was mortified that I got Christmas stuff in October! But in addition to everything you said, I found one of the best things to be the SELECTION! I could basically get anything in any color and not have it picked over or sold out yet! (And I am getting a new artificial tree this year and I’ve started pricing because I want it up next weekend!). I do not fall decorate so I want Christmas to start 11/1!

I'm South African and I really wish we had more local, Southern Hemisphere decorations. Christmas here is really hot and we spend the week of Christmas Eve going caroling outside, eating fresh salads outdoors and going to the beach. No idea why we have fake snow and winter centric decorations!
Lovelg being here. Beds look lovrly when they have beautiful bedding on them. We Air our bed every single Day. We also leave our Windows open. Love getting into a clean bed. I am OCD about bedding. Love getting into clean sheets.. Our Daghter and her Hubs get meals delivered every week.
Big Lots has really stepped up their game. If you're looking for blue and white, they have a gorgeous navy line they just put out. It's sooo pretty! Make me want to change everything!
We have eleven Christmas trees every year, the one in the hall is 15ft tall, each one is colour coordinated to the individual rooms. We went bauble shopping this morning and right enough there is a sale on . Love Christmas but for us the decorations don't go up till first weekend of December.....cant wait!!! About the dog outfit thing btw target has matching pjs for the whole family so men’s women’s children’s and even dog pjs so you could all twin in matching pjs this year as a family if you wanted!😊😊

My sister had a cute, Black poodle she named Charcoal and he was a brat...but a cute one, that's why he gotta' away with so much. Well, she bought him a cute Christmas sweater, had his nails painted red and green and placed a red and green bow on one of his ears, so cute right??!!!! EXCEPT, Charcoal was a man's man! He went around the neighborhood with our other dog TW who was much bigger and rivaled the neighborhood bad dog. They return with Charcoal wearing nothing but the turtle neck portion of the sweater and unraveling yarn that seemed to go on for eternity and the bow dangling from his curly ear. Needless to say my sister shreeked!!! She was mortified! My brother's gave Charcoal a high-five and said she asked for it... Merry Christmas everyone! Thank you for the memory sweet Charcoal, we miss you.

I wanted to paint my walls the paint color you have but they don't sell Dunn-Edwards (Crisp Muslin) in the Northeast. Why can't I have nice things, too?! LOL!!! The tree looks great. You are very talented. Keep up the good work.
Gotta admit that I'm bummed Shindoa is only located in So Cal. Being a So Cal transplant now living in Annapolis, MD, it would be nice if there were brick and mortar options on the East Coast where I could see it and purchase in person. Shindoa's return policies of 15% restocking on all returns and only 7 days to return is definitely a deterrent for those of us that are unable to see it in person. Any other recommendations for those type of wholesale stores would be greatly appreciated-especially since I'm a novice at using these types of stores. I can do the typical Amazon Prime, Hobby Lobby, At Home, etc. but those seem to pale in comparison!!!

Would you believe I move my furniture every few months. I have a sectional that comes apart. I live in an Apt. I dont have much storage. But I put ky tree by my front door. I have a rail by my door and dining room. I am so thankful for all your helpful comments. Thank you. I dont have to get much decorations this year. I have tubs and tubs of decorations. Beads. Garland etc.

Is putting ribbon on the Christmas 🌲 I try and get better every year but it’s something my mom never did so maybe that’s why I have no clue about it. I'm one of those people who feels like the Christmas tree doesn't necessarily have to match the rest of my home. I do a new theme every year, but I don't put up matching curtains, pillows, etc. Just a tree and maybe some garland on a doorway. I also buy about 90% of my "new" stuff during after-Christmas clearance sales. Then I look all throughout the year for extra decor. Example: I bought some silver star ornaments last year in 4th of July clearance, and Target put the same ones out for Christmas with a different tag.
Sharrah I have a very interesting question for you. I have a similar style and color scheme to your home. My husband doesn't like Christmas trees (He doesn't like that it derives from the pagan holiday) and refuses to have one this far. I'm trying to be respectful of his wishes. He wants to do a wooden manger instead to lay gifts around, like the Bible story. How would you recommend to style this? I was thinking a warm sienne colored stain for the manger, with a cream blanket draped on the corner, and twinkly lights kind of draped around the whole thing. Do you have any other cute ideas?

I always struggle with Christmas Centerpiece for a long dining room table. Something I can leave up all season, not just for Christmas dinner.

How about some small trees in proportion to the Manger scene without decorations but maybe some star lights?
