I broke 2 teeth, and I was literally in probably the worst time of my life, and then Forrest broke his back, but I saw how he handled it well, and Jesus made something good out of it, which has inspired me to do the same.
Wow. I had a similar incident in fourth grade where I was playing with some friends and slammed into the slide, chipping my two adult front teeth. Well, I was horrified at the time. I’m okay now!! I have bondings. JESUS LOVES YOU!!! Also, fun fact, it was on Friday the 13.
Lol my husband wants me to comment that he’s been having a hard week at work, I showed him this collab in the making, and the next day he decided to treat his workers to some free coffee and cold drinks and he wasn’t gonna buy anything for himself and the lady said “there’s an extra one - you can have it” and it was … lemonade!!!! 🍋
I was severely burned about a month ago. It got 25% of my upper body, face and ears. They had me in the burn unit for three days and told me it would be at least a couple months until I started to heal completely. My Jesus said nope, not on my watch! I was home barely a week, the cadaver skin started itching bad one night, and so I took all my dressing and gauze off… Low and behold, my burns were already healed and I had minor scar tissue compared to what it should’ve been. If it wasn’t for God’s grace, I wouldn’t be here right now. I placed my burden on him and kept my faith and he got me through it. I’m stronger than ever, and I have quite literally walked through the fire and triumphed it because of none other than JESUS! HALLELUJAH!!!
I had something blow up in my face not quite two years ago- life flighted to TN because MS doesn’t have a burn unit, I was home two days later and healed within three weeks, my throat was so raw from swallowing some of the fire that I couldn’t drink or eat, was healed before I came home. I only have a small scar on my eyelid, and my ear has some scar tissue, but that’s it. I say that to say this; putting anything in the mighty hands of Jesus can and does make a world of difference! So glad you are okay!

Went to Chick-Fil-A earlier...didn't even think about it, got a frosted lemonade, then as we were leaving I started singing "I got a frosted LEM O NADE...LEM O NADE"...and my wife and daughter and I all had a good laugh. I'm pretty sure even the cow was laughing. (He was wearing pajamas). I'm honestly just excited to see what this is going to do for the lemonade industry. I've thought about and said and sung the word lemonade more in the past week than in the rest of my life combined. Didn't followed the guy but recently saw many posts about his testimony and went to check out Lemonade yesterday. Funny enough, this year, for my birthday and last chemo gift, my church gave me a lemon tree because Jesus was about to make some lemonade on my life ❤ so I can relate to this song and will be playing it till the end of this desert!

This is a gift of encouragement to the body! So many people have gone thru a rough season in their faith walk but we must remember that God is always good when life gives you lemons. My husband and I lost one of our twin babies in February. Thank God my other baby survived and is healthy. It was a very intense season of brokenness and sometimes I still ask myself why and if I did anything wrong. Then God just reminds me that He’s holding my baby and she’s more alive with Him than she would ever be here on earth.

Funny enough, this year, for my birthday and last chemo gift, my church gave me a lemon tree because Jesus was about to make some lemonade on my life ❤ so I can relate to this song and will be playing it till the end of this desert!

This is a gift of encouragement to the body! So many people have gone thru a rough season in their faith walk but we must remember that God is always good when life gives you lemons. My husband and I lost one of our twin babies in February. Thank God my other baby survived and is healthy. It was a very intense season of brokenness and sometimes I still ask myself why and if I did anything wrong. Then God just reminds me that He’s holding my baby and she’s more alive with Him than she would ever be here on earth.
Forrest Frank and The Figs sounds like a collab album if I’ve ever heard one. The Figs have an Americana/Folk vibe. Mix that with Forrest’s laid back sunshine beach vibes and you have 40 Days in the Desert and God served me Dessert.
