Very informative video. I'm currently considering buying a NH 210 or a 310. Upgrading from my current H7330 with 2 pt swivel hitch and flail conditioner.
I demoed a 310 last year and it was very difficult to not buy it. The center pivot machine cuts so much faster although I don't understand why because you're not constantly cutting like a side pull
@@LoefflerFarms I'm leaning toward the 310 for that reason. Constantly turning right with the side pulls meaning cutting across the field all the way to the middle leaves tracks/ruts around the whole field rather than at the headlands. Plus with my mowing tractor it's impossible to make 90 degree turns w/o leaving rooster tails and I have to re-mow the corners anyway. Plus the 310 vs the 312/313 is a better fit for my tedder which can cover 3 windrows at a time.
I tried to order a 310 in Jan. and was told by the dealer that the model isn't available to order as they are redesigning it (maybe going to a modular cutter bar?) and he was unable to locate one from dealer inventory. So I ended up ordering a 210 and I'm going to switch tractors to a better turning one.
Kverneland or vicon or another brand? Just got side pull 210, salesmen said he steered away from the 10 and 12 center pivot cause was just new holland sticker till this year.
Pretty well although I just blew the gearbox that it pivots on about 2 weeks ago but I believe it was shipped without oil in it. So check the gear box oils and it should be fine
@@jims7605 unsure I took it off and it was empty but I never saw any oil on the mower or underneath it so I'm not sure where it went, I ended up buying a new gearbox and putting it back together
@@LoefflerFarms Thanks. I am just curious about the dependability of that machine. My dealer said some if not all of the 310 and 312 are made by a sister company in Europe.

Thanks! And most people around have 13 footers but this 312 worked out excellent for me this year, it really cut my mowing time down

Ya but a new 312 is about $46,000 now so I will have to pass on that
@@LoefflerFarms yeah lol, our 210 as delivered to dealer last fall, 31,500$, current model year ones that came in this spring another 5k
I saw this video because I was interested in upgrading from my NH 7330 to a NH 312 next year. How did the 312 perform during the past two hay seasons?

What was the diagnosis on your blown gearbox. Was it indeed lack of oil?
