That looks beautiful man! It's inspiring me to get out and get mine prettied up. I hear ya on the 10 mpg tho haha! I have a '97 K2500 with a 7.4, and the appetite is real! Although, I do get a chuckle out of all the guys who tell me they wouldn't own a truck like ours "because they couldn't afford the gas," then go hop in their brand new, lifted diesel F-350 King Ranch and roar off. I can buy *a lot* of gas with that $60,000 price difference lol!
I’ve got a 99 K3500, it came with a plastic cup holder/organizer from auto zone. Fits perfect right next to the 4x4 shifter on the drive shaft hump. Works really well for any size cup and can hold other random things too.
You’re doing good to get 10mpg with a 3500 dually. My 95K2500 with a 5.7 TBI and 4:10 gears is a gas sucking pig and only has about 190hp. Since it’s spent most of its life in the desert it’s 100% rust free which means it’s going to get a 6.0LS & 4L80e swap. It’ll still suck gas but at least it’ll have enough power to justify 12mpg.
Yes we agree. You should clean your truck more often than once a decade "whether it needs it or not". Instead of the title "Amazing Transformation", maybe you should call it, "I finally washed my truck". You didn't polish your truck. You used a DA Polisher with Rubbing Compound. You usually want to actually follow that up with the DA and actual Polish. Also when you were cleaning the carpet, you actually had maggots in your carpet. When you sprayed the cleaner, I saw the little "rice kernel" on the right move. That is pretty disgusting man.
I found a crew cab dually gasser today on Facebook. Seriously thinking about getting it instead of buying a new heavy duty truck. Prices are ridiculous nowadays.
@@DaysofPainandVictory Diesel was Much Cheaper than Gas when I bought it and really good Mileage. Starts are a bit rough at Zero Degrees. Only had 123,000 light miles on it when i bought it. Couldnt find a Squarebody 4x4 Crew Cab Dually at the time and needed to tow my Bass Boat.

For the wheels for the future go to O'Reilly's and ask for a gallon of aluma bright trust me it's expensive but it work good and for the rubber get you a can of coverall while your there and for cup holders the front of the center console in under that front compartment in some trucks are cup holder
