Okay Grian, here's a rare item. Snowy grass. You have to have an enderman pick up a grass block with a snow layer on top. It's basically normal grass, but white instead of green. It's only supposed to be seen from the sides with a layer of snow on top normally.

For rare items, you can turn your two Enchanted Golden Apples into two separate rare items, keep one as it is, and turn the other into the ‘thing’ banner pattern. You could further stretch that into three items if you find another by making two banner patterns and keeping one as the pattern and using one on a blank banner. You could also see if there are any player heads of members that used a different skin for a brief period of time.
The idea will probably get rejected/impossible for certain versions of the game(idk which versions it’s possible in) but how about trying to get the command block and many other items that shouldn’t be possible to get in survival
A pretty good idea would be to have ymthe collection of rare items within the stronghold and have a frameless end portal as a rare items, and could even get the frameless nether portal to go next to it

In terms of rare items, you can get a stack of curse of binding/vanishing books. Normally, when you try to disenchant enchanted books at the grindstone you get some regular books back. When you do that to curses you just get the curse back it doesn't turn into a book. So if you put curses (they have to be the same type) on both slots of the grindstone the result is a stack of 2 cursed books in one slot. You can keep going until you reach a stack.
No. What he means is that you can get a STACK of them in one slot. Like how you can have 16 enderpearls in one. While enchanted books are limited to 1 per slot. By doing this you can get multiple in one slot
i see now, idk what grians policy on exploiting bugs is here. also yes, still not drop chance, and with trading you can get the full glitched stack for 2 stacks of emeralds and books, and a handful of anvils

You could get the deepslate coal ore, which is very rare because coal doesn't spawn at deepslate levels, only at the very edge occasionally
It isn't very rare actually. It is uncommon, but not a rare item at all really.
Deepslate emeralds are rarer, only generating in mountain biomes, and in smaller, rarer veins

Words cannot describe how much I love that Grian logs on in the summoning circle, both summons worked!
These guys have made it so far together. finishing the backs of bases and finishing the vaults, how admirable.
A rare item you can collect would be something called the uncraftable tipped arrow by shift-clicking a normal tipped arrow in the enchantment table.
Speaking of rare items, I think Zedaph would be willing to pay quite a bit for one of those 2 tall grass items. (And maybe one of the dragon eggs too)

The "Pether Nortal" and the non-deepslate Diamond and Emerald ores would be good additions to the rare item collection
