It truly amazes me how underappreciated soap actors/actresses are still to this day! The lines they have to remember and the emotions they have to show to play their characters are so remarkable. They deserve so much more credit for what they do and have done for the last 60 years on GH alone!
No! it's not the writers don't know what their doing anymore. They are breaking up the wrong couples. I cheered for Jasam from day one. It took them forever to put them together than they turn around and break them up. Have Sam go to his brother really. Then the fool writers get them back together after 5 that's right 5 yes. Just to break them up again plus they put Sam write Dante, Sonny's son damn.
@@juanitamartinez7985 Hi! I came back to GH in 2012, and while it had ups and downs for a while, I agree that these past few years have been outstanding. I could do without Marshall, TJ, Molly, Jordan, but the stories and acting have been great - I can't wait to get home every evening and watch it!
Wow! What memories this video brought back! This was and still is my favorite soap opera! This was the one soap opera that I was able to watch after school.
I want to congratulate General Hospital for being on for 60 years I hope they get 1000 more years I need Abc I love you actresses and actors are very good amazing thank you for each show you guys do every single day
I still remember Stone to this day. I cry all the time rewatching him dying. And I loved it when they'd bring back Georgie to help Maxie in her times of need. I hated when they killed off Georgie. I miss Oscar and Nate too
I agree. Stone's storyline was gut-wrenchingly beautiful. I miss Nathan as well. They have not been able to find the right actor for Maxi's love interest since Nathan.
Can't believe 60 years they go by in a Flash but General Hospital, sure it is a lot of soap opera moment but for me some of the best storylines that are so moving still bring a tear to my eye🥰
Wow so many amazing actresses and actors missed on GH. I cried watching this amazing and emotional video. Happy 60 anniversary GH. Still watching . I started GH back in early 80s with my mom and Aunt. God bless❤❤
OMG this was wonderful. Thank you for sharing all these amazing clips with us. One of the best tribute videos I have ever seen. I just watched the special that ABC did for GH, your video was more moving than anything they aired.
Thank you, brought back a lot of memories. I'd like to say I have been watching since I was in my mom's womb...lol...My earliest memories are Robert, Anna, Tiffany, and Sean. I remember when Frisco came in with Felicia. I was born in 1981, May to be exact, so months before Luke and Laura got married, but I watched GH with my mom all the time. I did however stop watching around 2008 after Robin Christopher (Skye Chandler Quartermaine) left. I did however watch on and off through the years especially the Nurses Ball and just recently at the loss of Jacklyn Zeman's character Barbara Jean Spencer. I enjoyed the very special guest they had, full circle moment there. This was beautiful. 🩷🩷🩷
Lots, I was there for, lots I wasn't there for. But I know these wonderful people made this soap what it is today. It has gone through ebbs and tides trying to find its center. It has lost it many times. But the center is that hospital. So many things happen there. The best and worst of people are there. That's why Sonja's death and Epiphany's death is so heartbreaking because she was its heart. Looking forward to many more years. Thank you for this video.
All Of General Hospital Beautiful Moments And Sad Moments And It's Still Going On As Of Today And Everyday. I Remembered Some Of It And I Will Never Forget It. Thank You So Much General Hospital Without The Show What Would I Be Doing If It Weren't For You. There Is So Much I Have Learned From Your Show. Started watching this at 7 or 8 years old now I'm 28, I remember my siblings and I use to rush home after school to make it in time to watch it, wow so many great memories.
Thank you so much such great memories. So many people have passed and so many have come back. So many stars made from this show. It’s my daily highlight. ❤❤❤❤❤❤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Omg..the elementary sick days @ aunties watching GH..then the Summertime watching GH..the countless VHS and DVR recordings of GH. I haven’t watched in a few years since Steve left 😢..some heartbreaking 💔 stories we have witnessed, great acting and writers. 💕💕GH Forever 💕💕
I remember watching that episode when it aired, and I sobbed right along with them. It was one of the more gut-wrenching moments in soap history, in my opinion.

Amazing edit of so many sad moments acted so powerfully. That’s why they’ve been on for 60 years! We love these characters like family - or love to hate them. Thanks for making this!!
GH was the soap that first got me into all the other soaps. Will forever be the best program in TV history with some of the most iconic stories and characters with actors who have portrayed them outstandingly!!
Anniversary 🎂❤💋😉😘 happy 60th and going strong love you gh and fv and actors emmy hopefully on the way again it's been along ride and mark making it miss some people but ok toast to you all congrats !!!!
God bless General Hospital...for 60 years now I've tuned in to watch this remarkable show of gifted actors. I've been with you for all the laughs and the tears, the ups and the downs, the good times and the greatest times. And you as my GH family have been there for me. You've came into my living room 5 days a week to entertain me, leave me in suspense, made me laugh and made me cry. You've made me feel like I'm part of your family. Thank you and may you be still celebrating in another 60 years. Love from your #1 fan from Canada 🇨🇦
Omg..i can't stop crying! I love this show! This tv family! I have watched since the earlier 70s, and I still want to be watching in 40 years when they hit their 100th year! I realize by then that most of those characters I love wont be around anymore but I am sure I will grow to love the future generations of GHs families. Like Spencer and Trina, Joss, Cameron, Emma, Charlotte, Rocko, Georgie, etc.
My mom watched GH starting at the beginning through the 90s and named me after one of the characters. I watched along in the 80s up until the early 2000s and ironically both of my daughters ended up with names from this series too (which I realized after naming my youngest so it was subconscious but I'm not surprised either). I remember so many amazing storylines and characters along the way, but I love that you ended the video with Robin and Stone. Their story has stuck with me all these years and still moves me to tears. Thanks for making such a wonderful tribute video!
People don't say this enough, but Tyler Christopher was an amazing actor. His depth when Emily died really brought the audience into the pain that Nikolas was feeling. It still gives me goosebumps.
This was really well put together . There has been a lot of loss on GH over the decades both characters onscreen as well as some sudden offscreen passages most recently Losing Billy Muller to suicide , Tyler Christopher Nikolas Cassadine to sudden Cardiac arrest at age 50 , and the tragic loss of dear Jackie Zeman Nurse Bobbie Spencer after a very short and quick battle with Cancer at age 70!’ . She devoted 45 years to playing her character . Much of her life . She is considered a Legacy Character on GH . I’ve watched GH since 1980. So I’ve seen a lot of heartbreaking death scenes , memorials services and Funeral’s on GH .
I still want Alicia Leigh Willis back! Make it happen GH, in light of Tyler Christopher passing away (which is devastating), Spencer is an important enough character to bring his mother back, connected to Corinthos and Cassadines.
Definitely moved me to tears… I've been watching GH for a long long time and remember all of this… I can only hope that it continues with the depth of emotion love etc. etc.
Beautiful video 😢as someone who has watched gh for over 45 you hit all of the biggest moments. The pain and struggles and some amazing actors and actresses. We have had some of the greatest people come and go on this show.
I agree. One of those powerful moments for me is when Laura and Nikolas see each other for the first time when he comes out of baby Lulu’s hospital room. It was in semi slow motion and she knew it was him and said his name. Damn I have the goosebumps right now thinking about it.😄 Sooooo powerful.
Loved that they ended with Stone and Robin I don’t know the exact year I started watching, but it was before Luke and Laura when Laura was still with Scott and the Spencer’s were just getting to town
I consider BJ, Stone, and Emily's death to be GH's most tragic deaths ever. I loved all the supercouples that have come out of GH since I've been watching 1977, but NEM was and will always be my favorite love story.
Rip the beautiful talent that was Tyler Christopher what a stand out here and always. Beautiful video
