I swapped the throttle tube on my MT07 and tossed on some odi grips at same time, had a similar problem with clearance of the bar ends and the grips. Some careful grip trimming and perfect snap-back. Definitely not something to ignore. Great vid!
@1mangostick nice! Yeah I have not replaced or swapped out my grips so have zero knowledge on that. Thank you for sharing this info for everyone else who ever watches this can learn! 🙏
@TB_Automotive oh wow thank you so much for the encouragement and feedback!! For my first ever "real" video, i wanted to put something out the best i could do for right now. 🙂
Good video, you’ll be fixing stuff from time to time on your own, RUclips is an excellent resource for Motorcycle Issues Problem Solving / Repair. Also your area looks like a peaceful place.
Welcome to the fun world of moto vlogging! Just came across your channel, the shop kitty at the end 😻 (she’s the real ninja) in some of my early videos I would include my cats. Need to get back to doing that lol
Hah, interesting mine does snap back but not entirely like it should after yours is fixed. It sticks a bit on the beginning and when rolling off the throttle it goes back but sometimes stays a bit on throttle when I do that. Did dropped my bike on that side too, so might be the same issue or it's just an throttle cable adjustment issue and have to loose tension on it or maybe spray the cable in with the proper stuff. Also the keychain had me laughing. 😆
@KeViNMCMXXCIX i dont claim to be an expert at this point but yeah it should snap back fully to "off". There may be a little free play on it where it takes an extra centimeter or so for the throttle to actually do anything. Meaning you can wiggle it around a little and the RPMs dont move. Yeah it might be time for a little tune up! 🎶
@@joyridemel Yeah the free play is there as well. Which I knew it is supposed to be there. But the first bit after, when it somewhat "sticks" But as mentioned can't be anything serious, maybe an adjustment or remove the bar end for a bit and tie it back. Or lube the cable. It is also not on the thing you pointed out in the video. I have space in between.

It's not uncommon for Bikers to trim the rubber at the Bar End,(That part you took off), with a sharp knife.😀Thanks!👊✌️
