I agree with you but I think the reason EBU did this was to stop the illegal videos of the rehearsals from people. Their thought process being 'if anyone is gonna get the shitload of views it's gonna be us' :p
Well, my initial rant video had snippets of the rehearsals, and it immediately got blocked for copyright reasons. The algorithm is extremely efficient, that it would detect bootleg videos as well. Using the word bootleg just made me realise who damn old I am. 😂
