Great Episode! Do we have a date when Starfactory will come on line? I don't mean by 2025. But when it will start to become operational. SLS in still an over expensive joke. The old technology of SLS speaks for itself. I love the engine technology. To build something that huge. And the numbers of Starships in that short of a target date. Is more than amazing. How can NASA ignore that technological marvel. NASA is living in the dark ages. "Starbase Texas." Great name. Everybody would know where Starbase Texas is and what it does. You have to have a much bigger tank farm. That's a lot of information you packed in such a short amount of time. Again Great Episode. ALPHA TECH.
It would be interesting to see how environmental considerations are integrated into their expansion plans.

Looks like production is moving along smoothly with the new Starship production Factory. Tesla sure knows how to organize a factory to the benefit of production. The long-range plan to produce one starship a day is an aggressive goal but knowing how Elon Musk operates, I am sure they will meet their goal before the deadline. As a Starship enthusiast, I am excited about the new factory and my dream is one day I will be able to take a tour of the factory and see a Starship firsthand. That would be wonderfully exciting 🚀🚀🚀 😍

Lots of people don't understand Elon makes factories. Those factories can make "Stuff" faster and better than any other company, cars, robots, Starships..... Can Elon make factories that can make anything?

Where does he get the construction workers for such rapid construction given he does not employ 'non US ' manpower ! this is not mentioned at minute 4 plus.
Much like the Tesla cars, the rockets just take way less labor in the first place.
Since Space X is going to mass produce many different payload variants of Starship.
Space X may need to build a large environmental testing chamber at Starbase.
Shipping even semi completed sections of Starship to NASA testing facilities could be a major undertaking due to Starship's massive size.
You would like to at least fully test and space environmently qualify one of each variant type, especially if they are going to eventually be human crew rated.

It is usually not customary to mix flies with cutlets. Commissioning the Starship is one big topic, going into deep space is another, even bigger topic. It would never occur to anyone to climb to the third floor using a ladder with one step. But for some reason, the idea is being actively introduced that the appearance of Starship alone will be enough to master the solar system at least to Mars. It is absolutely certain that it will not be possible to master deep space only with Starship. To explore deep space you need:
a) developed space energy.
b) new spaceships that do not require megatons of fuel from the Earth, Moon, Mars or anywhere else
c) life support systems completely independent of supplies from Earth
d)completely independent medical centers in space, capable of effectively combating programmed breeding grounds for severe, dangerous infections, which ships will certainly become over time during long flights in space, and long-term inhabited bases in space, where dangerous microbes will evolve at incredible speed, and help from Earth will be ineffective.
An attempt to fly around deep space on Starship will end in grandiose failure. Only fans and children can ignore the obvious holes in the "brilliant" plan.
