Kid to Kid and Once Upon a Child are both pretty good! I think we have no OUAC here... They're all in Toronto but the border is closed! I used to really enjoy OUAC in Houston and Austin and had good finds :) It's so funny as with ponies people are REALLY in the same opinion about factory styles, ties and curls but the doll community is seemingly completely the opposite. For me, I know I can't recreate the style exactly but even if I could, it wouldn't be THE style given to the doll/pony 10+ years ago so it wouldn't have the same intrinsic value to me. It's a HUGE discrepancy between the pony collecting community at large and the doll community at large I suppose!
That bright pink LPS dog is a sheepdog! I still have another version from when I was younger and it’s a core part of my childhood 😭 I could never forget
I think the light up pool is a hot tub. I had it when I was younger. It may have came in the dream house in 2008 or so and would sit on the deck. Wonderful find!

There is something so fascinating and captivating about them that keeps me hooked every time. They also were the most interesting BY FAR with the amount of forms and gimmicks they had... g2 and g3 were so strange as follow-ups as they had significantly less interesting forms and gimmicks :( G4 only attempted to catch up toward the end in the toy line but they never got close to g1

That's the majesty that actually came with the store bought dream Castle. The mail order was threaded further up. Your new addition has room for a crown :) you could also tighten the curls up on yum yum and Goldie without ruining them :) you found them at a good price.
I'm going to carefully wash them out like I do with g3's for the factory curls and if they fall I'll follow the original pattern and recurl. They're so pretty! And ahh thank you for the clarification on the variants!

I had two as a kid and identified that they were different so they were always SO cool for different stories and stuff. So-Soft Buttons was super special because... well she was soft. Raincurl I thought was a bit older-looking

There was a whole TERRIBLE Steve Irwin impression at the beginning that I cut out because I looked ugly in it and you couldn't hear over the wind but that piece was the conclusion to it ahaha
I like the Yum Yum the best because she is a flutter wing I dont think I have. I collect SOME vintage MLP, Flutterwings, windywings and summerwings along with the pony friends. I just find them so over the top and 80s nostalgic. I also like the twice as fancy...I think I only own two lol. I would say my grail ones are the Cutesaurus (absolutely ridiculous I love it!) Night Glider and Munchy from the twice as fancy (serious, hotdogs on a mlp? the epitome of weird 80s toys, chefs kiss) and Merry Treat. I just love the Christmas colors on her!!! And the Glow n Show! And the Sparkle Ponies! ....seriously though I dont collect that much....lol. I just really love some of the color schemes. I still have my secret surprise from when I was little. I was never overly fond of her. I remember the mechanism being hard to open and I know I bent the plastic on the key.

i had the dollhouse that that hot tub came with when i was a kid! its the hot tub that came on top of the barbie dreamhouse/townhouse from 2008! loved that thing to death, so sad i sold it in my "im too old for dolls" phase T-T
11:30 I used to have that! It goes to a 2010s Dollhouse (it came with a elevator, TV, Fireplace, couch bed and some other things I can't remember) I can't remember the name I would have died for that or the dollhouse and I believe it's either hard to find or expensive I might be wrong. Great finds!
I’ve only ever bought things to resell twice, I felt bad cuz they were two American Girl dolls with no accessories, I fixed them up and dressed them in cute fits and sold them bc at the time I needed some money.. I hope whoever bought them enjoys them. I don’t sell anymore just cuz it’s too stressful and I rather just collect things

Do you have any of the small winged ponies? I think they were out in 88'? I once traded my friend 2 weeks of a having one of my cabbage patch kids that burped for her blue buzz winged pony, for keeps. I think they're my absolute favorite.

I used to have like 10 G1 ponies and I was so obsessed and I played them with my monster highs or other dolls. But I don't know where they went.
I had two as a kid and identified that they were different so they were always SO cool for different stories and stuff. So-Soft Buttons was super special because... well she was soft. Raincurl I thought was a bit older-looking
