Amber Benson is such a talented writer and the cast perfected their roles as I expected. Amber should absolutely be in the writers room for a buffy reboot, maybe even one of the showrunners because you can feel the love and respect she has for the franchise and she has the chops to back it up.
So happy to see this come together and moving towards a season 2.

Having Cordelia, Anya and Tara get the respect they deserve is long overdue. As is true for Charisma, Emma and Amber. Id Love to see this New Slayers Universe grow, more audible adventures, animated shorts, Novels and comics, is it too much to hope for a live action Film? I think the Suunydale fandom should rally around it, a kick-starter or something?
Live Action would be difficult as Spike is a Vampire and the actor has gotten older. But animated would be cool.

I listened to the whole thing and you really feel the heart and effort they put into it all the VAs but wow Cordelia was a nicely fleshed out slayer and I had fun imagining her slayer fits bc they’d obviously slay 👀🔪😂💕
Anya was my favourite character on Buffy and Cordelia on Angel. Getting to know them in new stories was super cool! They deserved this after the disrespectful plotlines JW put them through.
I'm in the middle of episode 4 but I'm loving it and I hope they make more.

Aren't they allowed to speak about past experiences with Joss Whedon or what do they mean?
It's more about they seem to just not want to delve back into those issues, especially in a world that jumps on any word famous people say so as to take it out of context or misinterpret it.
I thought it's because of the actor's strike, they can't really talk about past projects. So it's difficult to discuss certain things without having to touch on the subject. Of course, they have always been tactful in their discussions as well about their experiences.
@@mwyoung07you’re correct. Around 2:40 Charisma says it’s a struck project (meaning Buffy the TV show) so they are trying to talk about the audible project without promoting the original show.
I didn’t think they disrespected the character of Anya. And Cordelia’s farewell was beautiful.
This woman has spent the better part of 2+ years destroying the career of Weeden. But has absolutely no problem cashing in on his work and creation. This woman has absolutely no shame.
Whedon destroyed his own career by his sexual harassment and ruining the character of Cordelia just because in real life Charisma became pregnant. Also Whedon had nothing to do with this Project.
