While going to Siliguri I was not sure if the condition of this road was good. However, while coming back I took this road. It was in excellent condition.
দাদা সুপ্রভাত। আপনি বারাসাত আমডাঙ্গা জাগুলী হয়ে যেতে পারতেন। এখন এই রাস্তাটা খুব ভালো। আর একটা route হলো কল্যাণী হাইওয়ে কাঁচড়াপাড়া কাঁপা জাগুলি হয়ে। এই দুটো রাস্তা আমার মনে হয় বেটার। আমি এই দুটো রাস্তা দিয়ে প্রায় বহরমপুর যাই।
West Bengal police is one of the worst I had seen...why they put barricade in National Highway is beyond by compreshion...they keep it for hafta wasulie I assume....state highway if u go it is pathetic ....Momina Begum and communist make this state one of the most under developed...minus kolkata...asansol...siliguri ...mostly other places are quite neglected....

fully agree, the north bengal area is a complete mess - i drove to darjeeling siliguri last year, from krishnanagore to islampur literally you will not find any hindu, 99% are minorities and the they treat the NH like slums..people coming suddenly on the road, 1000s of totos plying on NH even though its banned, Momina s govt needs to be kicked out to make WB livable.

Why didn't you use the NH 12 from Barasat to krishnagar?

What was the speed that u were maintaining in the National Highway
I generally maintain about 80 kmph speed on the NH.

Went to Siliguri in May 2024. Then took the Barasat Krishnanagar route, which is in very good condition now.
