I used to play this game as a teenager, making luxury houses for my Sims 😂 Now I'm an architect and I listen to this while making some projects. Extremely satisfying.
sims 4's building music is calming to me... but its just something about sims 3's build/buy music that has an actual building kick to it, every single track is a bop to me
The Sims 3 made me have my first “I’m an adult” experience. I was 18 and had just moved into my first apartment. I was sitting at my computer wishing I could have expansion packs when I realized “I’m adult with a job and some money, I can buy one!” Feels like just yesterday. As soon as this music started playing, that moment came right back to me. Wish we could go back
This makes me want to play sims 3 so badly. I listen to this while building in sims 4, since I prefer the soundtrack but ahhhhh. I miss sims 3 and the times when EA actually gave a shit about their games. :(
22:42. Had to stop bc this track is sending me so far back I'm about to have a whole breakdown. Life's been so hard and I miss how it was back then. So much potential and the world felt huge. My favourite people were still alive and present in my life. This game has stood the test of time.
oh to be 12 and open the sims 3 only to go to the same house in sunset valley with the walkway over the pool, change out the beds and then start playing
Man when I first moved to TS3 from TS2 I was actually . . . expecting to kind of hate it. But it just slammed into my like a freight train and I ended up liking the very features I was dreading the absolute most. Ahhhh, Bridgeport, the first true City of The Sims . . . this music, while at first a little weirdly whimsical for my tastes, soon grew on me, signifying an entirely new era in my life and a start into something truly great as I explored the wonderfully new downtown.
I totally forgot how amazing the music for this game was. Whenever Building a Nest for Eggs started, I would genuinely stop building and just sit there so I could listen to the music without getting distracted, I loved it so much. So many feels hearing it again.
Think sims 3 is actually better except for not being able to go inside community lots. But the soundtracks r much better here. Sims 4 just plays same build song
The first time I heard 18:34 while first playing the sims 3 my eyes started to produce water 0_0 Sims freeplay nostalgia maybe, was the first sims game I played.
Ahh The Sims 3 is peak gaming in my childhood. Played it every night with my brother, creating ourselves in the game and then we either flirt or bother the NPC sims
i wish i could play the sims 3 again but i haven’t been able to play it for a couple years since getting a new laptop and losing the booklet with the code :( and the one that has the code is broken so i can’t even grab it from there :(((
This video had more comments. They were deleted by RUclips for some reason some time ago. Maybe due to copyright but Sims 3's music really isn't copyrighted well, so I don't know the exact cause. Either way, people don't really comment on these types of videos. They're mostly there for the music.
All comments on this video were removed for some weird reason. I'll have to rewrite the order and post it in the comments and the description. I'll do it as soon as possible. Thank you for reminding me.
@@Sims234ArchiveGeek Well, the minecraft OST is really good too. They're not comparable, for sure, but both are sooo goood. Also I want to mention Super Mario 3D world's jazzy style, Mario Kart 8, and others. And never forget Yoshi's Island ending theme (made me cry). Anyways, there are lots of really good game OSTs out there (just remembered about Cuphead), but yeah Sims 1 must be one of the best!
@@ResonanceHub I agree! I think SimCity 3000 and The Sims 1 have my favorite video game soundtracks. I also really love the jazzy Hot Date (and Makin' Magic - a close second), which is my favorite expansion pack for Sims 1. Honestly, the soundtracks of the sequels of The Sims should've been comparable, at least to an extent. The Sims 2's soundtrack is something you'll be able to find in a children's movie. Only a few tracks are passable, but even they aren't good. If someone played it in their childhood, they would see it as an amazing video game OST but it isn't. That's the power of nostalgia. As for The Sims 3, it wasn't bad like you were saying. Some expansion packs had even more memorable songs than the base game, while some of the soundtrack felt lazy, quirky and unpolished. The soundtrack fits for the game's heavily customized open world style and that matters. It's good that Sims 3's Latin radio station brought back some of the feels of the original and that the second game has two or three radio stations with the music from Sims 1.
@@Sims234ArchiveGeek Earthbound, Ocarina of Time, Chrono Trigger, Mario 64, Mario Oddesey, Sonic 2, Skyrim, Terraria, SimCity and Minecraft have my favorite OST’s.
This isn't a soundtrack of The Sims 4, but there's a radio station using songs from the past Sims games. Every game in The Sims series has its own soundtrack (although some spin-off games and content packs reused songs). To me, the most memorable soundtracks in the series are Sims 1 and Sims 3. The Sims 2 is also very humble and memorable. I can only remember two to three songs from The Sims 4 base game.
Tracks in order:
00:00 The Sims 3 Build Mode 1/Simmering Mallets
03:02 The Sims 3 Build Mode 2/Simple Assembly
05:57 The Sims 3 Build Mode 3/Some Assimbly Required
08:57 The Sims 3 Build Mode 4/Constructive Simicism
11:53 World Adventures Build Mode 1/Excavating A Whole
13:53 World Adventures Build Mode 2/Skylines In Sand
15:58 Ambitions Build Mode/Sculpting The Sky
18:10 Late Night Build Mode 1/Bridges Home
20:31 Late Night Build Mode 2/Road To Wondering
22:41 Generations Build Mode/Building A Nest For Eggs
24:57 Pets Build Mode 1/Home For Us All
27:08 Pets Build Mode 2/Foundations For The Future
29:21 Pets Build Mode 3/Cul-De-Sac Of Memories
31:35 Supernatural Build Mode/Industry Of Life
33:50 Seasons Build Mode/The Sun Porch Memory
36:01 Island Paradise Build Mode/Rising From The Sea
The track at 33:50 should be called "Building The Seasons" instead of "The Sun Porch Memory".
22:41 track is waaay louder than previous ones. I almost went deaf
The Sims 3 just hit different, man.
I used to play this game as a teenager, making luxury houses for my Sims 😂

That's so cool!
That's a very heartwarming story ;)

Heck. Why not :3

My professor always said, 'remember build house is not easy as playing sim', now i kinda feel it...xD
@@DogeRider985 but architects use software, which looks a bit like Sims, but much more complicated, don’t they?

man, i miss the good old days when i used to build in the sims 3 with my mom. no mods or cc at all, just the amazing sims 3....
thank you so much for the upload, this music is perfect for working on creative projects

13:58 nostalgic indeed

i know minecrafts music i known for being calming... BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT SIMS 3 BUILD MODE MUSIC!!
I love both and I agree
Listened to this while renovating my first house. feelsgoodman.
the shivers i got just from the 5 seconds of listening to this masterpiece oh the memories
Holy frick the nostalgia wtf

Every time that I listened this OST I remembered the "Wisteria Lane Life" from Desperate Housewives❤
Ah so many memories
Memoriesssss
Why did I stop playing these games omg
I want to create something now. Somwhere at a suburban neighborhood on a partly cloudy day at noon
I played this while decorating my living room (irl) lmao
It feels so weird hearing this and not being in build mode 😂
That generations one is seriously moving, idk what it is about it
OMG!
These songs is reaaaallly beautiful❤️
In the sims 4 theme songs sooo boring

Sims freeplay nostalgia maybe, was the first sims game I played.

I have not listened to this in at least 8 years and I'm telling you at 07:06 I started singing random crap instinctively
Late Night's Bridges Home must be the only build track I like 😂
listening to this while building in minecraft>>>
13:53 i swear this is from the Sims Freeplay
I play this while playing The Tenants
Season 1 Episode 3 of The Big Flower Fight 15:00 in is the same song as 3:35

That's why the game lets you mute BGM and SFX seperately. Also, where are you hearing pets at the same time as build music?
