This time i want to make an advice to anyone who had my same problem: I had some second-hand monster high with old-gluey hair i cannot take off the glue even when i washed their hair 10 times, but finally i found out that if you use talcum powder at yours dolls hair (dry hair), and later you wash with shanpoo and conditioner, the hair returns to be soft and clean.

Whenever I have leftover conditioner in their hair it seems like it gets greasy? hoping that letting it dry longer and going over the hair with the straightener more helps. and if all else fails, I'll use dry shampoo!
@@rodneyrainbow oh, clawdeen and creepover frankie have poly hair c: I def don't think it's as high of quality as nylon tho, but I can use a straightener and curler no problem on it. I can never get clawdeens hair super nice and straight, so we'll see if this method works on poly!
I think even black people sometimes goes for straight hair eith keratin treatment just for having sence of control. I'm curly girl and even me wish sometimes for straight hair just to be able to brush and having peace of mind

I have literally been using conditioner since like 1994 lmao. The fact that everybody gets so shook that that works better than fabric softener is beyond me lol. Also, I keep seeing on RUclips so many people use so much conditioner for a doll. She literally needs no more than what you would put on your toothbrush. Lol
So appreciate your info about conditioner. I've been wondering if i was doing something wrong. BTW, How did you hook the clamp to your tripod? The product description makes it look like it's attached by the clamp itself, which wouldn't work for this application. Thanks!

Don’t put the straightener on the highest setting! Just don’t go past 380°. But you can definitely try that method too, I personally have not done that yet

Question, does water get trapped in the eye sockets on these dolls when you wash them? I got Dia Mante, and her hair is EXTREMELY gelled, and I want to wash it out, but I don't want water to get trapped in the eye sockets and cause mold growth.
No not at all! Plus it’s rather easy to wash the hair without getting her face wet. I have done tons of eye swaps (full head boil washes) and I know 100% I’ve gotten water trapped in the back of them and they always dry up fairly quickly. I live in a humid environment (60%-80%) and I just place them in front of a air source whether it’s a heater or AC and have never had any issues!
Do all the Rainbow High dolls have nylon hair? I wasn’t certain I would like her with straight hair. I should have known her hair would look soft, silky and sensational. I hope you’re planning a part two in which you create another style for her. I think she needs strands of daisies weaved throughout. 👍🏻🌼👍🏻

It's about hair question, well I have 5 doll but their hair is messed....so is it ok if I wash it every week ,or month...I mean, is it ok cause I feel the head getting bold if I brush it...even gently...thanks
The Problem with conditioner is that it makes the hair stringy like when you crunsh the ends together it kinda stays together. Not sure if I explained it well. But personally I try to use conditioner only at the tips of the hair. With too much conditioner it doesn´t flow as I´m used with saran har.
No I get what you mean and I totally agree! This method is great for pictures because the hair holds it’s shape after you brush it, but it can also appear a little stiff at times. It’s either this, or a poofy mess 😭
@@rodneyrainbow This is why Rainbow High broke me. I´m not braggin but I know how to handle doll hair but with this nylon..I just give up. My basic Violet got her hair straighten maybe 3 times and the ends still curl up. With no conditioner her hair is a static mess, with conditioner it can get "oily" easy.....which is why I prefer characters with curls ^^° It´s the easiest to handle for me

This tutorial is for NYLON hair! The process is totally different for MH/Saran hair. You can’t apply direct flat iron heat to Saran hair

I did a little restyle at the end 😊 And yes, they all have either metallic nylon or just regular nylon

No this particular method does not work on monster high/Saran hair! This is only for nylon hair. I may make another video for Saran.
