Twin wheels at rear of trike serves vastly more riders than two wheels at front!
What is missing is great views of the entire trike.

How were the bumps , would the Crosswinds xe be worth the price for suspension

Bumps are not all that bad for the rigid frame. I will say suspension will make a big difference of course especially during climbing over roots, and other uneven trail sections. At these moments I felt the bike wanting to tip, where a good air shock would help prevent this. If you feel you are going to ride more offroad - Crosswind I would highly recommend.
