It almost pisses me off … he left his children because he couldn’t stick it out and deal with the depression that I deal with day in and day out I lost both my parents 5 months apart due to health issues and I wanna die every single day but I stick it out and deal with my issues because I have children and I CANNOT just leave them behind

@@BentBeautyy Respectfully… don’t let it piss you off. There is no rhyme or reason to depression. What makes zero sense to you still made perfect sense to Landon. And despite what you’ve been through in your life there is no rule that means your depression is worse than someone else’s. I don’t think Cam would appreciate reading a comment like yours.

@@BentBeautyy i understand where you’re coming from but things happen for a reason. The universe has a plan for them that we may not quite understand yet. And different people deal with things differently. Your mentality is obviously different from what Landon’s was. That doesn’t make what he did okay but you can’t dictate how he felt and why he did what he did because you’re not him.

You have no idea what was going on inside his head and it's not something to be pissed off about. Thats kinds like saying it's rude that people with health issues passed coz they couldn't stick it out, not always how it works is it I'm sorry for your loss of your parents i couldn't imagine how hard that would be. People always tend to think young children, such as Colette, can’t understand emotions as big as something as suicide or depression. And yes, they may not understand the whole 360 of it, but kids know and feel emotions. They may not know what to say, or what to do, but they can feel emotions and they can know to give something as simple as a hug, or like Cam said, hold her face with her little hands. Kids listen to emotions. They may not understand them, but they can sense and feel them. Kids deserve more credit than they get.

it's true...they understand more than people realize...after all, they're simply people too. I was her age (three, almost four) eleven years ago and I remember how I had thoughts and emotions too just like everyone else. Collette is so sweet; God bless her, and He'll use her for so many great things just like He is with Cam...in fact, He's already using Collette...God has plans for Camryn, Collette, and Delilah, and it's beautiful to see them fall into place. :)

Yes! I completely understand this. My papa passed from cancer 10 years ago on 12/12/11. He lived in Kentucky, we live in Indiana but always visit for every holiday. It’s been 10 years, I still expect to see him in his sofa, or on the porch swing with a beer. 10 years, and we’ve never moved his chair or rearranged the house, 10 years and no one has ever sat in his chair since he’s been gone. Grandpas can never be replaced.

You know; I’ve never said this before but always thought it. I honestly believe before Landon did what he did he said goodbye to collete. She in that video explaining everything she said she had gotten up because she could her that she was awake in her room. I think before he went to “bathe” he popped in there to give her a kiss on the forehead or something. I’m not sure why I think this but I always have. Don’t know why I felt compelled to comment this, I just did.

My heart breaks for her and I hope her story helps so many others who struggle with mental health you are a strong mama and you are stuck suffering from his bad choices you will overcome this and find an equal and full family they are so little that they need a step dad who can teach them and love them don’t feel guilty for wanting that or getting that bc that’s what you deserve in life you will always love and miss Landon but life has to go in without him and the girls need someone and it can’t be him now hopefully his parents want that for you also bc that’s what Landon would want for his girls all three of you guys!! Best of luck lots of love and support for u girlie!!

Cam you are so self aware, it’s incredible. You can really tell you work hard to apply the skills you’ve learned throughout this grieving process and it’s really inspirational!! I can’t imagine how hard this walk has been and will be but seeing you being able to really work through the grief, acknowledge you’re still healing, being able to take necessary steps to keep moving forward for yourself and for the girls, and do it all while sharing with us and doing RUclips…you’re awesome mama!
