Miriam is a legend, especially when she is on 'The Last Leg', if they had to use a bleep machine when she is on nighttime chat shows it would have a nervous breakdown. A real national treasure.
That show was my favorite I enjoyed that one so much. Miriam is my favourite guest even though she made the late great Matthew Perry so uncomfortable with the rather risqué story of meeting Laurence Olivier. 😂😂😂
Fun fact - Miriam Margoles was actually the first person to swear on the BBC (when she was a contestant on University Challenge). Oddly, it's not a thing she's particularly proud of, but I love her for it.
Chris Pratt was doing a 100% spot on Essex accent, which is the British equivalent of a New Jersey accent. It shocked the British audience and guests because we have never seen an American actor do an accurate British regional accent before and because Americans actors doing British can only do the posh accent okay. So it blew everyone’s mind that he could do a perfect Essex accent.
The difference, when comparing to US talk shows, is that Graham is the host. He's not pushing himself as the star. He lets people speak and be themselves without interrupting.
And also having his guests share space with other guests helps a lot in other to take the pressure out of them, so they will end up being more invested in having fun.
@TheDylls The guest sometimes doesn't even promote the thing they're there to promote, Seth just lets it go wherever. Then Seth says "Weren't you here for something?" G:"Yeah something" S:"We'll be back with [next guest]" still only barely mention the _thing_ and stopped only cause a producer stepped in to say _"Shut up, we have more guests to flog their things, and commercials CAN NOT wait."_
I am a Canadian, and having Ryan Gosling sitting next to Greg while he told his story, made me very happy. I was thrilled to see Ryan's reaction, and that he still has the Canadian sense of humour.
Canadian here. Well done, Tyler, for taking one step closer to the wonderful Rabbit Hole of Graham Norton's show. Your life will never be the same now!
@Willemm. Yep, brilliant show. Alex Horne said it didn't convert very well to the US. I've watched every series so far, but we've had loads of comedian's from all over the world on it, as you know, you just really have to understand the British sense of humour I guess. This at least made me smile during an early lunch. ✌️
The show works for the reasons said, but most of all because it goes from start to end without a commercial break for an hour. If it stopped for ads every 10 minutes, nothing much would happen.
Graham Norton is like spending an evening in the pub with a few celebrities and your most fun best friend. They're not always actually drunk like Matt Damon and Bill Murray got. But the drinks help people relax and actually enjoy being there.
@Hio01134you mean the time he climbed on to Nortons lap? 😂😂 Pretty sure he got into big trouble for it too, the next time he was on he hardly touched any booze and a lot of people commented that he looked bored and like he didn't want to be there!
This is why i love Graham Norton, its not so stuffy and formal like American talkshows and the guests get to drink, have fun and be a little bit goofy. It doesnt feel like a talk show either and Graham is a great host, he knows its about the stars and not him and doesnt pull focus too much. It feels like old friends just sitting around having fun and telling good stories.
He always knows something really interesting about each person, so if the conversation lags,he has something to ask about. He certainly does his research.
Yes it blew everyone’s mind because it was perfect and British people have never seen an American actor do a perfect regional British accent so everyone including the British guests were shocked.
She’s been on about 6 or 7 times and each time she gets worse and worse, she has people in absolute stitches. She’s one of the most deserving celebrities I’ve ever come across
Josh was a writer for the "Dora The Explorer" magazine, which was aimed at girls under 12 years old. Mark was having a go at him by saying "Girls over 12" to the question about "what are you most afraid of".
OH that makes sense now.. I didn't get the joke other than it was like that shock factor funny and Elizabeth's face when Mark said it, and he said it so smooth, but now its genuinely funny, thank you!
Breaking Bad was popular here, and of course Laura Fraser was in it. The whole premise doesn't make sense in the UK, though - if Walter got cancer here he'd just go to the hospital and get treated by the NHS.
Also do we even have a crystal meth problem in this country? I feel like British Walter White (if the NHS didn't exist) would probably just sell coke to city finance boys, and weed to everyone else 😂
We liked it in Denmark too, but yes, the problems were very hard to relate to for us. We have free healthcare and our teachers are also payed a decent salary… 😂
@TheKosstImogenmeth labs are hard to hide in the uk, the smell, the chemical use would make them stand out to so many agencies. you would gave to import it… might as well do coke.
for context about the otter thing: it´s from an episode where they talked about how people had made memes about Benedict saying he looked like an otter, so graham asked if they could recreate some photos 🤣. He even got Jonny to help with one, and he was very commited🤣.
Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield and Jamie Foxx weren't a random couch at all, mate. They were promoting The Amazing Spider-man 2, starred by the three of them 🤣
A lot of American celebs have said they prefer to go on UK chat shows than US ones. It feels more like a friendly chat than an interview, Graham is a fantastic host because he just sets the story up and let's his guests run with it.
When it comes to TV, USA is sooo sanitised compared to British TV (or even other European countries). Always found it ironic for the "land of the free" to be actually pretty stuck up... The Graham Norton Show is a standout though, probably the best out there, and the only one I genuinely like
I agree I have always felt that the US is a dichotomy of prudishness versus flamboyant showoff. I love a lot of American humour, media etc but it is not where I am at my most comfortable.
The reason for the success of the Graham Norton show, is 1) Graham is an excellent interviewer, 2) All the guests are on together so no one is given priority and 3) All the guests are looked after, meaning that they loosen them up with alcohol lol.
British talk shows are basically just casual conversations on film, american ones are more like a bunch of collegues who don't like each other being stuck in a board meeting together
I absolutely adore Miriam. I'm quite an old bean, but should I be lucky enough to have the gift of a couple more decade's, I'm already half way there to Miraiamdom. Love to you both. ✌️
@85stace85 Haha, we know she will. I just want to see his reaction when he hears about the soldier in the tree. 😂🤣😂😂🤣 Can you imagine? Sorry, but you know it'd be hilarious. Let's be honest, I can only speak for myself as an older woman, but at least we have stories to tell. Bless you, keep smiling always, even when it's difficult. ✌️💜
One of the lovely things about the British 'junket' is that the Brit's understand what the point is. So the host (Graham Norton in this case) is sure to mention whatever is being promoted, then ignores it, and lets conversation flow. The fantastic mix of guests has led to some of the most delightful moments in television, celebrities who have never met before and 'click' immediately, celebrities who suddenly find they share a weird hobby or obsession with another, a natural willingness to play with the perception people have of them. It's remarkably refreshing.
Graham Norton has the knack of bringing together a sofa full of very diverse people and making them gel together & enjoy the show like no one else can do. Almost always as good as your clips, it’s why he is a very highly paid man & well deserved.
What's going on?, it's a normal chat show where celebs are treated as humans instead of robots hawking their latest product, no canned laughter, no smarmy, slimy hosts like, Fallon, Colbert or Kimmel. We also don't clutch our pearls and swoon like you lot when there's swearing, booze or the tiniest hint of nudity. He's not just coming across as one of their friends, in most cases he is. Yes, we do love Breaking Bad dude, we get all your TV here.
The best interviews on Colbert's show (which I still think is one of the best late night hosts from the US) are when it gets right up his alley in regards to his geek side. All the LotR-related interviews are gold.
@doggieclaude Both Colbert and Kimmel have some really good satirical observations on the news at times. I skip the interview segments because those are always boring. I can't see what's 'creepy' about either of them. Colbert appears quite thoughtful and Kimmel seems like a genuinely nice bloke. I do watch them on and off for the stand-up takes on current affairs.
Graham Norton is very witty, funny and knows when to shut up and listen to his guests. He was made to be the best host because he knows how to animate a conversation between very different stars who finally will enjoy to share the light and just have fun with each other.
What's great about Graham is he's just an instigator for making them talk. They obviously have planned things they will talk about, like a story or promo or whatnot and Graham is in on making them say it, however they also just end up interacting with each other too.
As an elderly person, I tend to go to bed early but make sure I have recorded any of his shows to watch next day. He is an icon. Puts guests at ease and gets the best out of them.
I’m loving Tyler be completely confused by Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Jamie Foxx all being on the couch together as if it’s a totally random event and not film promoting for Amazing Spider-Man 2
Tyler, relax and stop analysing the humour, it is not meant to be scripted like U.S. 'talk shows' you can see the American celeb's enjoy being themselves and having a laugh.
Marnie, relax and stop analysing the content, it is not meant to be scripted like other 'reaction videos' you can see Tyler enjoy being himself and having a laugh.
It’s a great show. Celebrities are so much more relaxed when there are a few of them sharing the couch. Graham is very funny and genuinely interested in the guests and audience.
The format is that a selection of guests comes on together to promote their current project, which they do for like a minute and then just talk about their lives and experiences and tell fun stories from. It's really great
Graham Norton gets all of his guests on all at once, whether 2:10 it’s an A list film actor or a British Tv actor or celebrity and they all mingle together. A listers to comedians to Tv actors love the show. He’s the best talk show host ever.
The way Norton explains it is that if one guest is a bit of a dud you still have other celebs on the sofa you can engage with and still have a good show
You should look up the clips when foreign guests fail to understand Scottish and Irish accents. The best one was when they had two Olympic rowers from a small town in Ireland-everything that came out of their mouths was comedy gold, but their accents were very strong.
Graham gets all the people that other talkshows don't get, cause he's informal, never pisses people of, anything goes without consequences. They don't have to sell a movie or themselves. It's just fun. And that's why they all come to the show.
Graham Norton is a treasure and the most skilful host - making it look easy. It's the best chat show EVER. 🍁 You CANNOT be in a bad mood after watching the red chair.
19:41 the guy in question is Greg Davies, he was a school teacher for a long time, but then he became a comedic actor. If you get the chance, watch clips from the TV show the inbetweeners. He plays the head of the 6th form, and plays it as though he's a psychopath.
13:40 The roasting of Josh Widdicombe is perfect. That you Mark for understanding humour across the pond. First of all, Josh is a Brit comedian and it is DEEP in the culture to roast each other in a friendly way. Mark made a friend that day. Josh will have loved this!
@RescueKittens-i9q Josh had said earlier in the interview that he used to write the childrens comic book stories for Dora the Explorer in the UK. It was most likely a reference to that... That and Josh is also a comedian here in the UK, so he'll have understood the witty response from Mark.
@srdodd214 I'm familiar with who Josh Widdicombe is. He does sometimes get some ribbing about his youthful appearance, and that's what I took the comment to mean. I could be wrong.
@ajandrianjafymusic And then you see comments complaining that we tease Tyler too harshly - but if we didn't like him we wouldn't bother watching him or commenting, would we?!!
American chat shows are like being called in to speak to your boss, while British chat shows are like friends coming round for drinks and a laugh. Two different worlds.
I'm always fascinated by the way Tyler questions reality. There's Aaron Paul on The Price is Right and Tyler says; "Is this Aaron Paul on The Price is Right?" He sees a clip of the Graham Norton Show and says, "Is this what the show is?" It's probably some deep philosophy.
Chris Pratt was filming Guardians in the UK and his (then) wife got really hooked on a reality TV Show called "The Only Way is Essex". He then does an absolutely spot on impression of everybody on the show
Its relaxed and informal. Yes there are some short plugs for upcoming work or releases etc but it's mostly a night out. A lot of proper A list celebs have said how much they love being on the show and how much they love graham and the set up.
I love Graham Norton because the celebs mostly just share funny stories, not all the sales pitches from their latest movie etc., so you just get to have a laugh and enjoy seeing their personalities!
Graham Norton's best guest was Carrie Fisher. You will never see anything as funny as that. They played a game called Sack or Track, where she had to guess if the cut-out head picture was from porn or the 100m hurdles. She had tears of laughter flowing down her face.
Graham Norton has unbelievable guests weekly & it’s such a relaxed atmosphere with minimal emphasis on what the celebs have to promote which makes this show uniquely entertaining
So Chris Pratt was doing an Essex accent because he watched a reality show called TOWIE. The one with the curry used to be a teacher, he is now an actor and tv host but he has hundreds of stories from his teaching days 😂 As for Gordon Ramsey, the woman on the couch with him is French actress Fanny Cottenson, and fanny does mean what you think in UK slang, so Graham asked on purpose because he knew Gordon would be in a tough spot telling his story sat next to her 😂
Chris Pratt was doing his ‘Essex’ accent. Prior to doing his impression, he explained that his wife had got addicted to the series “The Only Way Is Essex” whilst he was filming over here (Essex is a county in SE England).
Benedict Cumbernach was just playing. He knows The Graham Norton Show. It's always safe, sometimes surprising, and probably gìves people 6 packs from laughing 😂❤
There's also the concept of a "watershed" in the UK, which is 9pm. The idea is that children are meant to be in bed by then so shows after 9pm are more irreverent, have alcohol, have swearing etc. The prime time for family friendly shows is 7-9pm. Graham Norton comes on around half 10 so it's expected to be for adults, not kids.
Graham Norton show is a very relaxed environment where celebrities can let there hair down abit more, answer questions as freely and unscripted as they like and generally feel as comfortable on the show as they can be, it's usually more about Graham 'plugging' his guests' next project be it movie/song/book/tv show etc
Love the moment with Cumberbatch and the bear. Depp was clearly freaked out by the bear for some reason so Benny just decks the fkr to help him overcome his irrational fear, and Depp is immediately comfortable enough to confront it. Nice guy
Drinking alcohol on British TV is OK at any time of the day... We have many morning shows with cooking and drinking, while 'talk shows' will usually have drinking too!
It used to be. But now it is getting dominated by streamers, and low quality cheap lifestyle crap content. Consistent high quality British TV, is becoming a minority.
It’s a proper chat show , just listen , that other guy is Hugh Bonneville , Paddington, Downtown Abbey , just listen ! Stop talking ! He’s Greg Davies an ex teacher, now actor / comedian
Matt Damon said it was the MOST fun he ever had on a talk show. Miriam Margoles is a law unto herself. Anything goes on this show.
That says a lot when he has a recurring joke with Jimmy Kimmel on his show late night talk show
Fun fact - Miriam Margoles was actually the first person to swear on the BBC (when she was a contestant on University Challenge). Oddly, it's not a thing she's particularly proud of, but I love her for it.
@goodfella1401fabricated and not organic
Mike Myers did a great impersonation of mick jagger - in front of him on SNL
@list55Myers is a Canadian with British parents and lived in the UK for a long time in the 80s with a British comedy partner, so that figures.
@ellie1981 Ohhhhh that explains it then, Thx
And what is a perfect Essex accent? 😂
The Essex accent is more like LA Valley girl accent they share features like upspeak and vocal fry
The difference, when comparing to US talk shows, is that Graham is the host. He's not pushing himself as the star. He lets people speak and be themselves without interrupting.
And also having his guests share space with other guests helps a lot in other to take the pressure out of them, so they will end up being more invested in having fun.
Graham Norton is a brilliant chat show host, he gets the golden nugget stories out of the celebs.
I feel like Seth Meyers is the only American talkshow host that still does that
@TheDylls The guest sometimes doesn't even promote the thing they're there to promote, Seth just lets it go wherever.
The other guy is actor Hugh Bonneville 😊
I will never be bored of the Greg Davis story and so glad I got to watch someone else reacting to it for the first time XD
I am a Canadian, and having Ryan Gosling sitting next to Greg while he told his story, made me very happy. I was thrilled to see Ryan's reaction, and that he still has the Canadian sense of humour.
Love Graham Norton. He was also in Father Ted as an actor before he started his hosting show. He's great as a commentator on the Eurovision too
Graham Norton is never there to embarrass his guests. He gets all these celebrities because he's so much fun to interview with.
Norton is also an actor which makes a difference as well. He was very funny on the Irish sitcom Father Ted.
It'd be rude of him to do something that they are completely capable of doing themselves
that's the point of being brittish... to embarres yourself, in public. It shows you are capable to relate to everyday life...
Ryan Gosling absolutely losing it in the Greg Davies monologue is priceless
Canadian here. Well done, Tyler, for taking one step closer to the wonderful Rabbit Hole of Graham Norton's show. Your life will never be the same now!
So true lol it’s a rabbit hole loll
I'd heard a lot of Canadians love Graham Norton! Love from 🇬🇧
LOVE Graham Norton’s Show! American stars say it’s their absolute favourite show to be on. It’s a group social setting. Fantastic vibes! ❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦
@sophiethorpe5926
Absolutely, we do! ❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
Stan Tucci probably needed therapy after being on with Miriam Margolis. Absolutely priceless
😂😂😂
The guy at the end is Greg Davies, a stand up comedian who used to be a teacher hence the school story.
Greg Davies is now probably most well known for being the Taskmaster.
Which you should absolutely watch if you haven't seen it yet
He is marvelous
@willemm9356 no, he is mr gilbert
@Willemm. Yep, brilliant show. Alex Horne said it didn't convert very well to the US. I've watched every series so far, but we've had loads of comedian's from all over the world on it, as you know, you just really have to understand the British sense of humour I guess. This at least made me smile during an early lunch. ✌️
There's Ozzie and Kiwi versions that seem to be doing quite well, but I agree the Murkin version bombed badly.
Graham Norton is hilariously funny, but his talent is that he brings out the funniest sides of all his celebrities!!
I don't know about Americans, but Canadians have loved Graham Norton for years!
Canadians love British humour!
Graham Norton is Irish by the way. Love Canada 🇨🇦 ❤
@dragonabsurda GOOD for you!!
@dorisbetts3012 he's Irish 👍
Americans are a bit naive arent they! Less than sophisticated in many ways!
Tyler shocked at wine drinking taking place etc
So sweet !
The most drunk person I've ever seen on this show is Mark Whalberg
@Hio01134 Yup that was 🦇💩 crazy.
@Hio01134you mean the time he climbed on to Nortons lap? 😂😂 Pretty sure he got into big trouble for it too, the next time he was on he hardly touched any booze and a lot of people commented that he looked bored and like he didn't want to be there!
@Hio01134 yeah he was infamously drunk
Canadian here, this is hands down the best talk show going, literally cry laughing. People from the U.K have the best sense of humor.
Graham is irish
@phelimmckeown1816 yeah ,as he's not from Northern Ireland he's not from the U.K.
This is why i love Graham Norton, its not so stuffy and formal like American talkshows and the guests get to drink, have fun and be a little bit goofy. It doesnt feel like a talk show either and Graham is a great host, he knows its about the stars and not him and doesnt pull focus too much. He always knows something really interesting about each person, so if the conversation lags,he has something to ask about. He certainly does his research.
I'm surprised they didn't include the clip where Patrick Stewart talked about not knowing whether or not he's circumcised.
That one was so funny
Hugh Jackman's reaction was brilliant 😀
Chris pratts Essex accent was brill. He was mimicking an accent he'd seen on the TV show the only way is Essex.
His accent was so good! 😂
Yes it blew everyone’s mind because it was perfect and British people have never seen an American actor do a perfect regional British accent so everyone including the British guests were shocked.
You really have to see Graham Norton interview Miriam Margoyles. She tells a story that you will never ever ever hear on American TV.
She’s been on about 6 or 7 times and each time she gets worse and worse, she has people in absolute stitches. She’s one of the most deserving celebrities I’ve ever come across
@karl-rconnon9974I hope you apologised! We all know that’s not her thing!!😂😂
So today I learned Americans can't say Graham
Or Craig
@martinshepherd626yeah who in the world is called creg?!
When I've met septics I'm called Mardun..not Martin
Or Basil and Cecil.
It's my name n everyone but brits struggle with the name
The fact that celebrities sit down close together gives them the confidence to talk as they're not always the centre of attention.
Its widely well known that celebrities love going on this show. It's very different.
Josh was a writer for the "Dora The Explorer" magazine, which was aimed at girls under 12 years old. Mark was having a go at him by saying "Girls over 12" to the question about "what are you most afraid of".

We liked it in Denmark too, but yes, the problems were very hard to relate to for us. We have free healthcare and our teachers are also payed a decent salary… 😂
@Sonderborg75 ... * paid
Most hospital series are also completely bizarre from a non US viewpoint. Most of the series revolve around patients not having money to pay.
They were promoting The Amazing Spider-man 2, starred by the three of them 🤣
Plus Andrew and Emma used to date. So not very random 😂
A lot of American celebs have said they prefer to go on UK chat shows than US ones. It feels more like a friendly chat than an interview, Graham is a fantastic host because he just sets the story up and let's his guests run with it.

The big guy ? Greg Davies, an ex-teacher, as many of his stories will reveal. Just THE best storyteller on British T.V.
Also the legendary Taskmaster, Lord Greg Davies 😎
The reason for the success of the Graham Norton show, is 1) Graham is an excellent interviewer, 2) All the guests are on together so no one is given priority and 3) All the guests are looked after, meaning that they loosen them up with alcohol lol.
Before and during the show. 😂😂😂
And he has top-quality guests
British talk shows are basically just casual conversations on film, american ones are more like a bunch of collegues who don't like each other being stuck in a board meeting together
Conan is an exception
You need to watch them all especially ones with Miriam Margoyles in 😂
Tyler may blush deeply watching / hearing Miriam :)
I absolutely adore Miriam. I'm quite an old bean, but should I be lucky enough to have the gift of a couple more decade's, I'm already half way there to Miraiamdom. Love to you both. ✌️
I love her, but I think she may traumatise poor Tyler 😂😂
@85stace85
Indeed...he's a young man in his 30's afterall and being a citizen of the US seems quite easily embarrassed...poor Tyler...
@85stace85 Haha, we know she will. I just want to see his reaction when he hears about the soldier in the tree. 😂🤣😂😂🤣
Can you imagine?
Sorry, but you know it'd be hilarious. Let's be honest, I can only speak for myself as an older woman, but at least we have stories to tell.

Will-i-am and Miriam Margolyes being a prime example of pure gold.
@widget1005yes, and Lady Gaga with June Brown!
As a British person, no one cares how much u drank.but if you come on Graham Nortons show, you gotta drink something 😂
Graham Norton has the knack of bringing together a sofa full of very diverse people and making them gel together & enjoy the show like no one else can do. Almost always as good as your clips, it’s why he is a very highly paid man & well deserved.

Ooooh yeh these three ARE creepy: Fallon, Colbert or Kimmel. I don't know how anyone can watch them.
Yeah, he's really good friends with Miriam Margolyes and their banter is ace!! Also her stories are just that wild!!!!
@diarmuidkuhle8181 I'm British, I think I just have different taste to you. Each to their own!
Graham Norton is very witty, funny and knows when to shut up and listen to his guests. He was made to be the best host because he knows how to animate a conversation between very different stars who finally will enjoy to share the light and just have fun with each other.
In regards to hosting.
I would say actually Graham Norton IS a host, while most of those you probably have seen as hosts aren't hosting but directing.
What's great about Graham is he's just an instigator for making them talk. They obviously have planned things they will talk about, like a story or promo or whatnot and Graham is in on making them say it, however they also just end up interacting with each other too.
Graham is an excellent host.. always keeps things moving well and can click with pretty much anyone
As an elderly person, I tend to go to bed early but make sure I have recorded any of his shows to watch next day. He is an icon. Puts guests at ease and gets the best out of them.
What you're describing in Graham's style is basically 'having the craic'.
Or "having banter" in English
Lol banter is an Irish word also
No it isn't 🤔😂@larrymartyn2019
Craic was not a word until the Irish took the northern English word crack and made it faux Gaelic.
@larrymartyn2019 banter isn't an Irish word🤦🏻
Spot on. It's just authentic interactions between humans.
To be fair a lot of these clips lacked context
Your effort is wasted he never reads the comments.
@sticklebrick2003 he does occisionally, just not very often
Marnie, relax and stop analysing the content, it is not meant to be scripted like other 'reaction videos' you can see Tyler enjoy being himself and having a laugh.
15:17 he's doing my accent! haha it's like Essex like init hahaha
Its nice to see you expanding your global sense of humour.
UK TV hasn't ads every 3 minutes.
The BBC has no ads at all, we'll worth the TV license.
It’s a great show. Celebrities are so much more relaxed when there are a few of them sharing the couch. Graham is very funny and genuinely interested in the guests and audience.
Greg davies was my english teacher when i was a kid. He hated me 😂
What an honour 😂
Graham Norton is a talk show that’s on later in the evening , you never know what to expect, it’s great!
The way Norton explains it is that if one guest is a bit of a dud you still have other celebs on the sofa you can engage with and still have a good show
Love the episode where Mark Whalberg gets absolutely hammered before the show and my god it shows 🤣
You are not a typical ,average American, you ask questions and are willing to be told when you are wrong.......most unAmerican. Good for you Tyler!
This!!!
You should look up the clips when foreign guests fail to understand Scottish and Irish accents. The best one was when they had two Olympic rowers from a small town in Ireland-everything that came out of their mouths was comedy gold, but their accents were very strong.
Graham Norton is great at being a host
Plus the drink, swearing and the famous people who youd never see together makes it even better
Graham gets all the people that other talkshows don't get, cause he's informal, never pisses people of, anything goes without consequences. They don't have to sell a movie or themselves. It's just fun. And that's why they all come to the show.
It’s not about ego with Graham.
Graham Norton is a treasure and the most skilful host - making it look easy. It's the best chat show EVER. 🍁 You CANNOT be in a bad mood after watching the red chair.
The Big Red chair, is a must at the end of every GN show, where they flip members of the public.
19:41 the guy in question is Greg Davies, he was a school teacher for a long time, but then he became a comedic actor. If you get the chance, watch clips from the TV show the inbetweeners. He plays the head of the 6th form, and plays it as though he's a psychopath.
Graham Norton is Irish and one of the best talk show hosts EVER! Love his shows!
ure missing the fun! ure thinking of what and why!! just enjoy, relax and have fun!!
13:40 The roasting of Josh Widdicombe is perfect. That you Mark for understanding humour across the pond. First of all, Josh is a Brit comedian and it is DEEP in the culture to roast each other in a friendly way. Mark made a friend that day. Josh will have loved this!
The worse the insult the deeper the love😂
he was making a joke about Josh Widdicombe's baby face, not that he likes underage girls
@ajandrianjafymusic
And then you see comments complaining that we tease Tyler too harshly - but if we didn't like him we wouldn't bother watching him or commenting, would we?!!
Love Graham Norton. Guaranteed laughs every single time. 😂❤
Greg Davies is a comedian he used to be a teacher that’s one of my favourite stories from Graham Norton.
American chat shows are like being called in to speak to your boss, while British chat shows are like friends coming round for drinks and a laugh. Two different worlds.
I'm always fascinated by the way Tyler questions reality. There's Aaron Paul on The Price is Right and Tyler says; "Is this Aaron Paul on The Price is Right?" He sees a clip of the Graham Norton Show and says, "Is this what the show is?"
It's probably some deep philosophy.
Yes we loved Breaking Bad over here. So glad you enjoyed our sense of humour.
No one else can get such a range of celebrities!
Graham Norton's best guest was Carrie Fisher. You will never see anything as funny as that. They played a game called Sack or Track, where she had to guess if the cut-out head picture was from porn or the 100m hurdles. She had tears of laughter flowing down her face.
See the ones with Cher in them- she is hilarious and likes to push Graham as far as possible.
Celebs love going onto his show. Graham often lets them just chat amongst themselves
Graham Norton has unbelievable guests weekly & it’s such a relaxed atmosphere with minimal emphasis on what the celebs have to promote which makes this show uniquely entertaining
So Chris Pratt was doing an Essex accent because he watched a reality show called TOWIE. The one with the curry used to be a teacher, he is now an actor and tv host but he has hundreds of stories from his teaching days 😂 As for Gordon Ramsey, the woman on the couch with him is French actress Fanny Cottenson, and fanny does mean what you think in UK slang, so Graham asked on purpose because he knew Gordon would be in a tough spot telling his story sat next to her 😂
Glad to see you’ve come across Graham Norton! It’s an absolute treasure.
Graham is a Irish man ,so proud of him, great man .
Tyler, that was awesome. I love Graham Norton and his show. Please feel free to cover more of his shows. Peace
You really need to watch a full episode - they are hilarious when you see the context
Chris Pratt was doing his ‘Essex’ accent.
Prior to doing his impression, he explained that his wife had got addicted to the series “The Only Way Is Essex” whilst he was filming over here (Essex is a county in SE England).
Agree. Seeing celebrities as if they were people. Love that.
Graham Norton is great at getting the celebs to relax. He also has a great sence of humor.
Graham Norton is the best. I think it the Irish humor. He is so funny and it makes the guests relax
Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Jamie Foxx would have been promoting Spider-man.
Love, love, love BRITISH humour ❤😂😂
Love the Graham Norton Show. One of the best things about the UK
Benedict Cumbernach was just playing. He knows The Graham Norton Show. It's always safe, sometimes surprising, and probably gìves people 6 packs from laughing 😂❤
The guy who told the story of the school and how he was overheard, is called Greg Davis.
The price is right game show started in Britain.
I love english humor 😅 it a perfect match to danish humor 😂
That whole episode with Damon,Murray and Bonneville is one of the best ever. It just gets more chaotic
Also should watch the whole Greg Davies thing
Too many " What. What.. what is this wait what wait what what"
I know just watch the fucking thing….
British TV is amazing. Always has been!
Agree and Australian TV shows too.
Put perfectly. Shush up for heaven's sake. Also the constant incredulity is so insufferable
@ not just me then , he never shuts up
A listers love going on this show, they know it's special
