I think Diddy maybe have been inside of Foxy because earlier in the film, Diddy mentions that he will still be running even after he dies. We can most likely assume that Diddy is also inside of an animatronic and when Foxy was shown, he was mostly chasing Baby Mario when he broke free out of Bonnie.
