My daughter bought a car from Carmax and someone hit her driver side door and when she went to have it fixed, the shop discovered that the car had been in an accident before she purchased it. One of the safety metal bars that should have been in the door wasn’t there and that was dangerous. The past owner did not disclose this and there was no record of it. Carmax bought her a brand new door from the dealership, no charge to my daughter at all. That is customer service. They used to bring in cars from other cities. Not sure if they still do that.
A profit is a profit! If you’re comfortable with it, it’s none of anyone else’s business. I’m trying this year to make sure I’m comfortable with my profits on things but also moving inventory at a rate I’m comfortable with.
I bought from Carvana - it was a seamless experience. In fact, the first car I purchased I didn’t like. They took it back even though I had gone over the “try it” miles (partly due to the fact that the delivery was delayed and I couldn’t test it out before I had to taken a road trip). The financial end of it was super easy, and I’ve bought many cars before and it usually isn’t that painless. I knew going into it that I was buying the extended warranty - something I highly suggest everyone buys. It has paid off with my last three car purchases (all from different companies). And, their extended warranty was less expensive and covered more! Sorry to hear of the leg issues. I have similar symptoms and it’s due to a lower spinal issue. A lumbar MRI is a good way to find out if that is the source. A good chiropractor can possibly help the issue, as long as it isn’t something like a cracked and fallen vertebrae.
My sister got her last car from carvana..and swears by them..she picked exactly what she wanted..they delivered it to her front door on a flatbed..then gave her a week or 2 before they took her down payment for like the equivalent of a test drive..
Don’t shy away from listing high on an item with branding. I recently sold a used carhartt jacket with 2 different company logos on the chest (one was 3M and another was a local electric company) and it sold for full asking price of around $100.
I got pregnant with baby #2 last fall and had the worst morning sickness. I was basically bedridden from the end of September until Christmas. It has finally passed and I’m sourcing/listing again. I think you definitely get a pass on your health-related issues! Sometimes we have to slow down and take care of ourselves. Hope you get well soon.
My mechanic has had several customers who have brought him Carvana cars, which were dying. I'd give them a hard pass. I went and looked at a used Toyota and asked the price. They told me that they buy new cars from other dealerships and they sell them as used, with 200 miles and they are certified, which has new car financing rates. I'd go this route.
I can't vouch for carvana as a buyer. But as a seller, we were very impressed with how professional they were. They made it into a smooth and enjoyable process, plus we got more for our vehicle than we were expecting, so that's always a plus!
We just bought a 2015 Toyota Tundra a few days ago in Little Rock AR.. we were able to get exactly what we wanted, the process was so fast and easy.. then we just drove our trade in to the location and picked up the new truck.. and that process was only about 10 minutes! They even advertised the truck as having remote start, yet we discovered it wasn’t added so after speaking with them thru text they gave us instructions on where to take it so that they could add the remote start, very friendly service rep .. the price was comparable with local dealerships, and Carvana offers a complete money back guarantee for 7 days and your warranty period will vary of course.. I honestly highly recommend Carvana
Definitely do your research before buying from them. They were in the news a few months back and not for good reasons. It was taking months for people to get their titles/plates from them.
Caravana is close to losing the licensing to sell in certain states. There are hundreds of people who haven’t been able to get the title from the company. So they can’t transfer and can’t insure. And can’t drive it. I saw a news report on it sometime in the last year.
I enjoyed using Carvana. We didn’t have to spend hours at a dealership. I signed a few papers on my front porch and they drove away with my old car. Still love my car three years later.
Call me ‘Thumper’-if you do t have nothing good to say….di t say nothing at all!! This is your ‘way’- we can see by your figures that it’s a good way to resell! I will take a huge cut one day that I will not take the next. That’s the way the business is. I appreciate all the info you give me.
Carvana is bad about changing the financials at the last minute not in your favor. I had a friend who did Carvana and she was strong armed into paying $1700•+ extra at the end. It was bad.
A friend of mine there in Columbus used Carvana and had a good experience. They got a car from Texas (where I currently am) and was shipped. I am 56 and have some arthritis in a couple joints in my feet so spending long hours shopping is not fun.
You can pick out a vehicle from a dealership and see if they will deliver to you at no cost! That’s how I got my vehicle and they delivered it to my home! I signed the papers and everything in my garage. I recommend doing research as to what vehicle you want and to know how much you are willing to pay and watch out for hidden fees.
I purchased two cars from Carvana. No issues. I also sold a car to them. The last car I brought from them was 6 months ago. I’m in Florida. I would recommend them.
If you wet the leather and place it in shape you like it will dry with "set" to meet your desire. Do not worry about your metrics... they have to suit you, not me.
Hi, I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis for the last few months. It's tough but I still get out there to the flea markets and goodwills in my area. I'm usually at 2,000 listings on eBay but November and December were really busy and I felt 1800. So I've just been maintaining that for now and everything seems to be going great.
For your pins and needles, I'd look for a chiropractor. I like the Palmer school of chiropractic medicine. Don't go to them if they do x-rays, or set you up with so many visits. You should go to one only if you are experiencing issues. Good luck!
My son had a great experience with Carvana..My daughter not so much!! Make sure they do pre-sale inspection. and check car out thoroughly after receiving. Check battery. They will try to get out of day 1 issues. We are in Fl and that's our experience.
Hi, hope your leg is better. Have you ever had a session with a chiropractor or sports medicine doctor? It could be something a simple alignment might alleviate. Just some food for thought. Question for you as a beginner reseller, where do you find your best boxes? Thank you
Another high profile reseller always says "we are in the selling business, not the storage business." Yeah, you could've held out for more on the jeans but someone is offering you well over $100 profit on a $5-$10 item? Absolutely take the offer lol. Especially with how you mentioned last January was for you. Great sale!
Sorry to hear about your car. A deer ran out of the woods and hit the side of my car last week while leaving the driveway. Set off 3 airbags. I too am in the market. 😢 I don't know much about Carvana though.
@@DadPlanet Haunted Television Halloween Prop TV Animated sounds, I don't know why it didn't show up. I just checked and it sold in September of last year not October. Why do RUclips Ebayer's feel the need to have to explain themselves to a-holes? I'd list the jeans at $500.00, if I knew I could get it! Everybody has the choice of buying from who they buy from. I have a NWT, two piece tankini bathing suit I just listed today with a $79.00, price tag for $99.00. It is a Speedo suit that's in demand deadstock item. People want it, and I'm going to sell it. We sellers spend a lot of time, gas, and our own money finding these items and then listing them. "We find them, you buy them" it's as simple as that! 😁
Awesome find! I feel like that segment was important for two reasons 1) It gives newer sellers some deeper insight to one of my solds which might help them if they find/list a similar pair and 2) The deeper dive (in a small way) sets me apart from my content creation peers. Had less to do with the OP. Hope it helped!

Hello! Makes sense to parallel but the accident left me unscathed. No airbag deploy, nothing. The nerve issue comes from me tweaking my back some weeks back and the pain migrated from lower back down to the calf/foot. It's STILL tingling but I'm about 80% recovered.
All you had to say was you run 50% off year round so obviously accepting 180 on 250 is then reasonable, all this data and clickbaiting title wasn’t needed
Why are you so worried about how he conducts his business? Lots of people I'm sure find his data and talking through his thought process to be valuable. He can accept a $1 offer for his item if he wants because it's HIS item in HIS business. Crazy how that works.
You seem very triggered by something that shouldn’t concern you at all lol. How he runs his business and the knowledge he shares is very helpful to many people, myself included. And the title is only “clickbait” if you choose to assume that you know what he’s talking about, which you don’t. You clearly came looking for something you didn’t get, therefore categorizing it as clickbait. I came looking to learn from a mentor who is successful in the reselling business - which made the title just a title. I’m sorry that you are engulfed in so much misdirected negativity and I hope that you have a better day tomorrow.
