Great video. Standing is good for reducing pressure sores, and a lot more benefits.

Just found your channel yesterday. Hopefully, you'll see this question. I'm aware this type of WC is both heavy and expensive, good for around the house but inconvenient outside. But, in a nutshell is this WC worth purchasing? I'm not para but have neuromuscular issues that have progressed to the point where I'm not able to safely go from sit to standing position. Any opinion of your experiences with it would be appreciated.

You said it was awkward...did you mean heavy awkward? Mobility equipment is expensive because insurance companies think businesses or government have big bucks...and of course mobility companies want big bucks...so really, they are catering to the big buck people. They could care less about the working man. The only way this will change is when money becomes an obsolete thing and bartering returns.

Awkward as in not as maneuverable as a typical rigid chair because of weight and size.

Sorry but who in there right mind would buy a manual wheel chair 'far too much work involved 'when the electric wheel chair is far far better no manual work involved 'I had a ordinary wheel chair and it took a lot out of me the electric wheel chair is a miracle 'does everything you need 'take it from me don't waste your money on this wheel chair get the electric wheel chair instead ' don't say I didn't warn you

Well there are aspects of both manual and electric that are appealing. First of all, I can load and unload the manual on my own without buying an accessible specific vehicle. Second, the price is significantly different and it is very hard to get insurance to cover this type of equipment. Third, and lastly, I am young and in good shape. I refuse to have an electric wheelchair until I absolutely need one. Thank you.
