Excellent non-technical explanation about the response of the different strings. Thank you!

Thanks for this video! I was just in the market for an upgrade to Pi. This video actually convinced me to stick with Pi just based on Tina’s 4 comparison clips.
Hopping over to the Shar music store now. Again thanks for posting.

Spirocore string is a very unique and gives you very intimate sense of the violin everything it sounds very sweet and provides a great protection from wrong acsent or bad pressure on the violin. Very clean sound and very emotional. Excellent only for very good violin players.

Something about this demonstration... I could really make a string decision based on what I heard. I'd say the consistant playing and recording setup made this possible. :) [committed Infeld Blue IB100.. until today after hearing the TI's]

The Evah Pirazzi has a deeper or has more bass compared to the other strings

This is an excellent comparison video. Thank you. In my experience working with musicians, many professionals will gravitate towards 'Ti' for their brilliance and slightly more refined texture vs. Infeld Blue, Vision, Wondertone Solo, and Evah Pirazzi. The tension overall is much more relaxed like Dominant. The bow response seems more rapid than other Thomastik strings reminding me more of Rondo. Faster bow response may translate to slightly less color options as Tina stated in her analysis, especially when compared with Peter Infeld and Dominant Pro. They work extremely well on step up instruments that need help with clarity (price point is also softer than other pro strings) but also seem to work really well on vintage instruments that have a darker character. If you are looking for finer sound colors I would recommend trying the silver TI03A with this set (the aluminum TI03 comes standard in the TI100 set). Both options are available at Shar as well so happy playing! 🎻🎻🎻

Listening with good speakers, I clearly prefer Peter Infeld to TI. And the best and roundest sounding is by far, the one with Evah Pirazzi !

I’ve been looking to try these. How do these compare to Infeld red and blue

Thanks for your question! Infeld Red and Blue don’t feel as soft under the left hand as Ti. On the other hand, Ti has a less focused tone than those strings, and is more appropriate for group/orchestral playing (Rondo strings, which are basically a "sister string" to Ti, would be a better choice for soloists). Ti strings are close to Dominant strings in tone and feel; we've had more than one person say that they feel like a direct upgrade for Dominant.
