Metal detecting near a rock wall in NH we found the top of a wooden chest probably from the 1800s. We had to rip this spot apart and dig everything up to see if there was more. Relics were dug and found and a second dump site was located. Lots of good finds today including Silver coin.

AWESOME!! Me and my dad went metal detecting and found a small high pitch amunst the iron signals. About 2 feet deep a old complete clay Tea pot upside down. Under and around it we found broken plates, bowls, cups with purple, blue, and green designs on them. We also found 35 complete glass bottles. We believe the dump is from the early 1900's because May 9 1906 is stamped on one of the broken plates. The business that made the plate started in 1880,the patten for the plate 1892,and the plate was made in 1906. Wow! We are not done and there is signals all over!!

No one has metal detected the spot were we Went. 1906 to present day makes the dump at least 123 years old!

I would have freaked out if I dug up that piece of chest. Lol. And starting off with an 1862 seated? Sweet! I recently discovered a mid to late 1800s house that was exposed after someone cut down a bunch of trees.....and I NEED to search that land. Great video guys. I'm inspired now.

What a wonderful day of really great finds! Do you ever get on a roll and don’t want to leave? Has there ever been a time when you just camp out because there’s so much stuff? So incredibly interesting watching what all you find! The coin, chest, buckle, suspenders, horse shoes and I loved the little bottle! Congratulations!

Great video. When you go back it would be nice to see you take a soil probe to check for bottles. I figured I had done everything I could at an 1860's cellar but went back one more time - found a spot with some glass - dug a small pit and pulled 20 intact bottles including a free blown blob top. I am going to have to recheck some of my other "finished" cellar sites now.

Horseshoes, baggage trunk, padlocks, winding keys, all point to a traveler’s junction (?) Perhaps the water was a draw as well as a central location. (?)
