I'm not very knowledgeable about jazz, but the past few years I've really gotten into it and everything I've seen you play on here seems right up my alley.
Thanks! I only have my hand written drum transcription. I’m not sure if a lead sheet is available, you’d have to transcribe the melody and changes. As for feeling the 9 bars, I’d just play along with the tune, eventually you’ll feel it.
@@nom... If you can, sure. If there are difficult parts, you can write them down (transcribe) so you can play them slow until you get them up to speed.
This is the song that put me on the path looking at intros , , , wow i enjoyed that , Thank you !!!

Very cool but can you play the parts to the Three's Company theme song? I don't know why I'm baffled by it.🤔☺
Hey friend, great performance!
Do you have a lead sheet, or just tips on how to parse this tune and feel the one beat, and the nine bar cycle?

@@mattthompsondrums so if I wanna play it, should I just pick up one of the parts (for example bass) by ear and just play along and learn to feel it?

@@mattthompsondrums also, I can play the recording on youtube at half speed or three quarters.
Thank you for the advice! :)
