Production of Chiral Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) and Their Esters

A research team led by Professor Isamu Shiina of the Department of Applied Chemistry at Tokyo University of Science has succeeded in using a new catalytic reaction to synthesize non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs with double the previous levels of purity.
