I tried them steamed first and hated them when I was young. Some family ate them RAW. Not for me either. I first liked them fried. Then, I had them steamed and I made a light hollandaise for them like I did for other seafood. I then evolved to steamed with hot sauce or plain. That is how I learned to love them. Just a suggestion.
I’m from the south and grew up eating oysters! Hate the canned kind though. I used to absolutely love raw oysters but quit liking them at about 15 and haven’t met another adult that likes them. I love any kind of char broiled or rockafeller, they’re the best in my opinion. Hopefully you can try some and enjoy it!
@@seanswinton6242as somebody from Louisiana by the bayou I can fucking confirm oysters are good no matter what raw is amazing a little lemon and some cocktail especially the juicy ones
Now chef I will say this cuz right now you got me feening I will be trying this cuz it’s best with Parmesan one of those chains uses reggiano and it’s horrible
I reckon it depends on how well you like yours but I’m with you… as soon as mine start to boil a bit they’re coming off and I’m sticking a fork or something else in them so I can shovel em down the gullet 😂
I would love to try oysters one day, and definitely want to try them grilled first

What is that oil you used 😮
What's the secret sauce?
All it is be melted butter and seasoning - probably Cajun seasoning. That's what causes the flames to flair up 😊

you can eat them raw or fully cooked, so there's no real way to cook them
