- The Seine is literally the center of life in Paris, flowing right through the heart of the capital. Considered one of the most romantic rivers in the world, the Seine is overflowing with history and is a great way to discover the city of light. More recently, officials have given the Seine a facelift, making the banks more accessible and improving the quality of the water. Join Florence Villeminot and Genie Godula for this aquatic episode of French Connections Plus where they dive into the wondrous waters of the river Seine.

Fantastic! That's where I was born. Paris, Neuilly-sur-Seine, France!
Thanks for sharing!
There's nothing to see there. Most expensive town beside the City of Light Paris
@@christophermichaelclarence6003Many people who have visited Paris have told me it's a slum.
@@ElainerulesutubeParis is not a slum at all but Neuilly is just some exclusive boring suburb for some closed-off elite without anything cultural to see...
Thank you for your report.
Le Seine! Paris!I just came back and I want to return again!🇫🇷💯❤️❤️❤️❤️
Merci, vous deux : excellent reporting!
Was in Paris this past January...wish I was there again, already! 😢
ladies thanks for the great education. great video
Rugby World Cup in a couple weeks too, don't forget, held all over France, but mainly based in Paris. 🙂👍🏉
Ireland might be the World Champion, if they keep up striking

New Zealand look very dangerous again though.
What sets the Seine apart from other rivers is that the river rats have high culinary tastes. 🐀🥘🗼
Ratatouille does exist! 😂

YES, and it calls itself Pierre...!!! 🗼🇫🇷🧀🥖🐀🍷
No mention of the riots?
I was is Paris end of last year and could not move, because of all the squatters there...
And they threaten you and throw rocks and filth at you....! Was the most disturbing experience of the whole visit to Europe!
No Paris for me in the near future...
I have met many people who have visited Paris, France and they have told me Paris is a slum!
Paris is romantic if you have money. I visited Paris maybe 6 or 7 times, in recent years,I prefer Nice and spend a week in Feb 2013 after the trade show. In June 2019 I only spent 20 hours with a long layover to meet my Parisian friend before continuing my flight to Istanbul
The next time I visit, will be to Normandy and Monet garden.
There are few free things to do in Paris, I love walking around at the Pere La Chairs semitary, many famous people barried in it. Oscar Wilde, Edith Piaf, van Morrison and the new tombstone of my favorite French actor, Gaspard Uliell 😢
Hey France 24, what happened to the other French society videos? e.g. movie events, etc.
Have you heard the one about little Donny always having to be an earful?? Well not anymore.😂😂😂😂
I always thought it was a 'face' on RATP logo...... Oh well!
Why not lower the voice of the woman speaking French and just have somebody narrate voice over in English what she is saying .
The world wants to see the bouqiniste. They do not want this mcdonaldization of world culture, at least not so much that it affects the realest of the like bouquinistes and other things actually french or actually produced by real workers, artisans, etc.
Agreed.
In general, English is not very widely spoken overall in France, with recent surveys estimating that around 39% or just under two-fifths of the French population are able to speak English to some degree. Not many of these can speak it fluently though, and many of this percentage will only be able to converse in very basic English at best.
So, I take it that they don't think much of any of the English speaking countries. They're just too special for that!
Oh my! This is an appalling video, truly terrible! I could happily spend months browsing the bouquinistes stalls, drinking coffee nearby, and returning daily to see what's new! Family life may take a bit of a hit for a few months
