    Wenn man das ganze nun in Vakuum machen würde, quasi ohne Luftwiderstand, hätte man dann nicht ein perpetuum mobile?

    Hallo, Danke fuer das Video, wenn du ein anderes Magnet nun neben dem Schwebenden heranfuehrst, bewegt sich dann das Schwebende zwischen den Bismuthplatten konstant?

    this the cube stop and then start rotating again? or was that just sync wit the video frame rate?

    Could this work using bismuth crystals for added visual effect?

      yes, it works with crystals as well, however if you want to make it easy you should keep the crystals pointing away from the floating magnet. otherwise if the rough crystals point to it, or if the almost flat film pointing to it is to thin it might become much harder to balance. but if you have huge crystals it should be pretty easy to make it float in between the crystals.
