I recognize the hardships that come with economic struggles like unemployment, job loss, inflation, housing market instability, political uncertainties, and the global impact of conflicts and wars. Making ends meet during such times can be incredibly challenging. To navigate this difficult period, considering alternative job prospects, enhancing skills through online courses, and expanding your network can heighten the chances of securing employment. Moreover, prudent budgeting, exploring available financial aid programs, and seeking assistance from community organizations can offer some relief. How are you currently tackling these challenges? Have you implemented any specific strategies to cope?
In my opinion, now is not the moment to rely on hearsay. Every individual, regardless of their level of experience as an investor OR in a financial market, requires guidance at some stage.
It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.
Finding financial advisors like Melissa Terri Swayne who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
Thanks for this. could easily spot her website just after inputting her full name on my browser. she replied my inquiry and we scheduled a consulting session sometime tomorrow.

People are facing a tough retirement. and it's even harder for workers to save due to low-paying jobs, inflation, and high rents. Now, middle-class Americans find it tough to own a home too, leaving them without a place to retire in.
The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, work part-time, and save for the future. I'm concerned about whether those who navigated the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am currently experiencing. The combination of stock market volatility and a decrease in income is causing anxiety about whether I'll have sufficient funds for retirement.
It's recommended to save at least 20% of your income in a 401k. Sonya Lee Mitchell taught me to estimate how much you should save based on your age and income. I've been with her for years now and her decades of experience in the markets translate to chunks of value in so many ways! She has upscaled my portfolio and even got me reading self help books haha

2009 really wasn't that bad compared to now. At least in 2009 I was able to afford a studio apartment in one of the most expensive towns in the county, working at Target and McD's while going to college part time. Now I have a well paying job in 2024, and I'm barely hanging on living with roommies in the last affordable towns in the same county. 2024 is definitely worse than 2009.

Our central AC compressor went out. To replace the entire system (the condenser, coil, and replace the old furnace) we are getting quotes $12,000-$16,000. We decided to go and buy a handful of used small window units for $40-$60 each for the bedrooms and a $450 large window unit for the 1st floor of the house. We are just fine and are actually saving money on our electric bill by being able to control the AC on a per room basis. And best, we aren't having to shell out all of that money replacing the system. The furnace works just fine so we are good for the winter. Everything is so expensive now. I don't know how people are able to afford anything anymore.
get a second opinion. This may be sonething as simple as a failed start/run capacitor or condensor fan motor. HVAC techs absolutely cannot be trusted when say that the entire system needs replacement
We did the same. It helps to control costs. We have 3 but currently 2 running. We put the hose in the fireplace to reduce heat coming in thru the windows.
Mine went out last September, and I told myself I would replace it when spring came. I just bought 2 window units. I am very pleased with it. My electric bill is half what it was and the house is comfortable, I am not going to the expense of a whole new AC system. Not worth it. The heat still works.
Most people who work regular jobs are already 25% down a year because that's how high prices have gone anyone with children I'm sure has found a very very hard time just feeding them and so they're living off credit cards. The elderly with hospital bills and medical bills and Medicine are probably having a very hard time affording that too. Fortunately her apartment is shaded much of the day. Between the taxes and cost of living she estimates she and her fiancée are spending $1000/month more living in California. And the city they moved from, Boulder, Colorado isn’t inexpensive either. They are planning to move back to Colorado as soon as their lease is up next year.

My fiance is also an engineer (manufacturing - mandatory in-person) and even after diligently saving for 20% down payment, we would need to rely on both incomes indefinitely to sustain the mortgage which will be double our rent not including insurance and utilities. Idk how anybody my age without extremely wealthy parents can ever stand a chance at buying a home here when even our situation is inconceivable for starting a family (via home ownership). We also both drive cheap cars we paid for in cash and never hold credit card balances month-to-month, living as below our means as possible while witnessing all our friends financing expensive cars and going on expensive vacations all thru the year, eating out all the time - even bragging about not paying their student loans off thinking they'll be forgiven eventually (still). I guess we'll just have to settle for being "Net Worth" stealth wealthy for the foreseeable future...

Mind if I ask you to recommend this particular coach you using their service?
Finding financial advisors like Melissa Terri Swayne who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.

People are facing a tough retirement. and it's even harder for workers to save due to low-paying jobs, inflation, and high rents. Now, middle-class Americans find it tough to own a home too, leaving them without a place to retire in.

I don't know how people are able to afford anything anymore.

Imagine fighting a German shepherd, and you are holding your own, maybe, and then 3 pit bulls start chewing on your ass while you're fighting this one dog in front of you.
Oh my gosh. You’ve actually been there.. 😂 too funny
Coyotes are pretty bashful of adults (not kids or pets). Pitbulls will rip anyone apart, they're not scared.
Coyotes have been known to lure small dogs deeper into the forest and then kill them.
They are sneaky dudes.
Coyotes will attack people only if they are starving or you threaten them in some way. Otherwise, they’re smart and avoid people at all costs. Small prey and pets are their food source.

Also small children (toddlers).
We don’t need more bailouts. That goes for citizens, Wall Street and the big banks! They need to address the national debt and start paying it down.
But they will happen, as they produce the one important thing Democratic politicians want and need--votes.
😂
@@azmike3572
And who was it that ran up the debt / deficit?
Democrats administrations have to clean up the mess republicans leave
They are pushing for all electric in new businesses and new homes in Washington now too. It’s pretty crazy. You should come to the Olympic Peninsula for a summer. It’s very scenic and we are on the Olympic National park. Lots of places to hike and explore and lots of great summer music and art festivals. We are also just a ferry ride from Victoria Canada. ❤
Funny guy !
I'm 31 working remotely as a mechanical engineer in Northern Bay Area and just recently finish aggresively paying off my student loans (roughly $100k total, paying $2-3k per month the last few years). I understand all of this totally unsustainable, but being patient sure has felt like a spit in the face these last 4 years. I guess we'll just have to settle for being "Net Worth" stealth wealthy for the foreseeable future...
Yep. There are going to be generations of young people who will never own a home.
Sean that's why you and your fiancee will be what changes everything. You setup your family with wealth for next generation and invest your money in right investments to build more savings and generational wealth.
My parents didn't build wealth when they were working so I'm doing that.
80 degrees, the only way its 80 degrees in my house is the AC is broken.
I'm an AC tech here in Florida and keep mine at 80 to 82 24/7..Feels just fine when working 90 to 100 degrees everyday 😂
I have a plan. Saved 3 grand , buy a cheap van. Live in that save another 400 a month. I have no debt, no car payment and I'm starting a non profit. I will find a way out of this.
Where do you park and sleep?
The county I live in . In Ohio 80 percent of homes are heated with coal and wood .. 40 percent of the homes don’t have electricity hooked to them !
That should be illegal. Especially the burning of coal.
@@davidgray1515 are you aware that china is opening up a new coal fired power plant ! Every week.. sadly that’s not a joke .. and
You get the drift boy !!

Michael. Yes, it’s HOT here! Be happy you are getting a break! Enjoy your trip!
Glad you are enjoying the weather. People in the Bay Area love the weather in the summer. But you can get too much of a good thing. Remember the words of Mark Twain, "the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco".
yes chillier than expected there in summer
@@tobyk5149 Especially right off the bay where Michael is. If he drove 10 miles inland, it might be 40 degrees warmer.
Hey Michael, welcome to the bay area. The proper mode of dress for here is in layers. Subtract or add layers as needed. The temps can change 40° during the course of any day. I used to live in Marin. It was a pleasant experience.
How do you spend less on your electric bill by using more electricity??? When I heard that I thought that means politicians are calling us all sheep. We’re all stupid. We’re all supposed to do what we’re told. And continue on until you’re gone. Next batter up.
I remember a few years back "about 25 or so " the power companies said that because of the public using less electricity that they needed to increase prices to remain vibrant. I'll bet they will use this one again in some locals.
They’re trying to get everyone into the solar panel mantra..yes they think we’re sheep bahahaha
Michael is FREEZING!!
some German breweries make ice in the late evening/early morning when energy demands are lower; then said ice is used to cool fermenters during the day, as opposed to running refrigeration (glycol chillers) equipment. more often than not, there are greater advantages to revamping existing infrastructure to improve efficiencies.
The AC bill will always be lower for a condo or apartment due to unit being possible surrounded on sides, top or below by other units, comparing to a free standing house with its own roof and exterior walls which can get a lot hotter. Can't compare in my opinion.
When my grandfather passed away last January had to stop everything I was doing to go take care of my family only to find out that they weren’t actually family treating me like shit and not being supportive and having me be the odd man out after the family and heading back to my hometown I was unemployed for over six months because I had to wait that long to get rehired when I looked at other jobs. There was too many red flags. Couple of them were wasting my time redirecting me everywhere and overall not giving me enough hours with the inflation. I used to job hop all the time and out of all of my years of working NEVER before in my life have I been unemployed for that amount of time now that says something about the economy. And it doesn’t matter what we vote for according to my calculations everything going on is not a left right issue or a geographic issue. It’s more so greedy people who have power and are ultra power hungry because when you look at California, there are more people that support Donald Trump and Joe Biden in California is the bluest state in America.
And yeah, anytime you’re in the bay area. It gets cold when I was there five years ago I remember when I was north of it towards Petaluma. It would be 95° but once I go past the tunnel towards the bay, it would plummet to 62° within five minutes , it’s really mind blowing to see the temperature change in such a short amount of time. I remember wearing a jacket in July and August and 2019 to Instacart in the bay area. I was living in San Diego at the time. With California try to push you into electric everything and having all of these unconstitutional laws it’s overwhelming in California is starting to look like a Third World country.
They want you to switch to “electrical everything“ is because in the electrical devices, they have more control of your device than you do and we all know how that goes especially with our phones and other tech gadgets they just want power.
People ! Please stop worrying about things you have no control over. Live you life, try and be as happy as possible because your life passes you by way too fast.
Because of those utility and food prices is why there is an increase in cc and auto loan defaults. Where I used to live in Arizona, the utilities went from 250 to 700 a month
You are 100% right. I have noticed that after a series of purchases of electrical devices such as a cordless vacuum cleaner, monitors, televisions, a sound system, and UPS power supplies, the home network is more loaded and much more at risk. And we are only talking about one apartment here.
The Video began to make me think.., and I said to myself: [EXACTLY], .. !?...Why Are Electricity Prices so high in California, but Manageable in just about Every Other State.....?' I really want to know and understand...'
Initially purchased a BLUETTI 2000-watt portable electric generator on eBay for $700. Also, two used 435-watt solar panels placed and angled on the ground. Charges while being used. Now I have FREE electricity for Air Conditioning, Flat screen TV, components, landline phone and laptop charging all day long. Bought two more chargers at the same price since for extra storage for nights.
Michael - 5:42 I live in Scottsdale and we have coyotes here all the time. One thing they don't like is humans. They are also not aggressive. Unless, you have a small pet.
Was talking a real estate agent in the Phoenix Metro area today. He said the water table in Scottsdale and San Tan Valley is so low that you may not have water in a matter of years. Are you concerned about that?

Hey walking man keep doing your job !! No hate here !!! You put in a lot of time and reading and learning what the hell is going on!! It’s good to know and this is the reality of what’s going on !!
The coldest winter I ever experienced was a summer in San Francisco 😂
Brother what you need to know about coyotes is what they do is they gather one two and three and then they start going around in circles and when you start to fight one you're dealing with the other and the other than your trip and you fall down that's where the trouble comes. When there's one means you might see another and then that's when you can get into trouble quick. So be careful
Bring back CD's that paid 19%. Bring back savings accounts that actually made sense to put money into savings @ 8% .... That's when we'll know the economy is right.
The style fits you very well Michael!😉
I have a garage apartment in Wisconsin (two bedroom) my electric bill was three hundred and thirty three dollars all winter! prices are insane, I have a masonry business and have estimated 14 jobs this summer and only got two of them so far
time to sell everything :'(
Where is the bathroom in a garage apartment?
Do EV drivers plug directly into the sun? Or, do they rely on coal-powered electricity production like the rest of us?
West Virginia will see a coal mining revival soon.
🤪
There was a 'hilarious' scene in Amsterdam (the Netherlands) where they had to hook up a gasoline powered generator to an electrical public loading pole because the grid couldn't handle it.
Yay, a sunday video from michael
We run AC everyday so far this summer, set at 72, monthly bill is still under $100. Entire house is electric.
Last bill when we left CA in 2013: $550.

The idea that all we have to do is to allow the economy to run its course and things will self correct is ludicrous. Obviously, manipulating interest rates or stimulus programs are going only to deepen the crisis. The only solution is to stop deficit spending, cut and remove majority of taxes, reduce the size of the government, both federal and that of states and reform most laws that restrict normal functioning of businesses. The last point must include easing up of licensing and insurance requirements. Remember that small businesses not only create half of the employment, they produce stuff that people need.
