New flyovers constructing under SRDP , they are taking care of storm water drains aswell I guess. Due to increase of pvt vehicles these flyovers will also get jammed. Only saviour is Metro rail/mono rail/brts (bus rapid transport system) near future.
It's almost a myth feeling Karthee. Public transport is an noble option and every city must provide multiple types of public transport but it will only cater a % of population only. Even if more people use it, it will reach it's limit too and people will rebound to own commuting. There is no end to this dilemma. The cities across the world has given up on it and focus only providing all types of infrastructure at best possible manner. The SRDP projects do the exact same this. They are trying to make every major junction in Hyderabad "signal free". What it essentially means, while traffic might keep increasing, it will ensure there are no stand-still traffic jams - which we see in Gachibowli, Kondapur, etc.
In this 8 years if planned and implemented we could have already had 2nd phase of Metro but seriously out of mind snake flyovers that have more benefit to real estate and less public utility compared to public transport are being constructed. Countries like USA which are planned essentially in a car centric way have better public transport. Still they are moving more towards public transport but here its just going south. Indian planned cities like Chandigarh / Lutyens Delhi have used roundabouts and eliminated the need of signals and effectively managed the traffic conditions. If public transport is improved and more people start using public transport the need to modify these roads would eventually come down.

Only way is taking pressure off the Western Hyderabad. Kaleswaram project is ok for now, what if in future Godavari basin cities lack water for themselves, they are going to cut water supply to Hyderabad. Palamuru is not going to supply Krishna water to Hyderabad i guess. Come out of Hyderabad and develop other cities like Warangal, Karimnagar, Khammam, Ramagundam-Mancherial
At T - junctions, where they need to construct flyover connecting right turning road(instead of straight flyover) , unidirectional flyover is enough. Because in opposite direction we can get free left. ex : Biodiversity flyover

I am unable to understand two things: 1. How is the traffic going from Sarath City Mall towards Hitech City handled? Maybe with a U-turn somewhere between Harsha Toyota and Kondapur? 2. And how are they going to handle traffic to and from High Tension Line roads just after the flyover ends near RTO Office in Kondapur? A new signal again? Or a U-turn? Either way, it is going to be a big bottleneck - because all the free-flowing traffic would slow down near RTO Office...
the flyover should have ended after the seshadri high tension line road and the rto office link road and the kothaguda side ramp should have ended after the closed down whitefields signal

There's going to be another flyover from the middle of the road for the vehicles to pass Directly towards the other side of the road i e. From Nanakramguda ORR to Towards Sharat city mall road and will be from above the already constructed Gachibowli flyover and the newly constructing flyover ... So its 3 flyovers, one over the other. In the congress regime during combined AP. 2004 to 2014 1. Outer Ringroad fully completed ~95% 2. Metro 90% phase1 completed(TRS intentionally delayed it few years till 2017) 3. Shamshabad airport completed 4. PV Expressway completed. Project cost(2004-2014): 20000 crores in those days. KTR and KCR are good gamblers, with such a big city for a small state like Telanagana last 8 years they tortured people without proper road planning
