I refinished my pool which was plaster with epoxy it is outside going on 3 years now still looks brand new. Prep included 30 grit sand entire pool tsp detergent and into the swim 2 part epoxy
@@jamesfricchione two coats is what I did and it held up just make sure you get a drill with mixing paddle don't mix epoxy by hand trust me it's so it cures even
O yea does color of paint used will it make big difference in water color. Like paint inside pool a blue color would make pool look more blue and then nice looking ?

It was previously painted before in an oil paint and i am need to scrape and clean these stalls before repainting. Hello I found your video very informative but I’m still undecided on which product I should use over a new bare concrete pool surface. Should I apply concrete sealer or water proofing before the rubber paint or just acid etch the new concrete then apply the appropriate rubber coating? I assume the concrete needs to cure X amount of days before application of coating. I am just starting to research products so any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the video. Don’t use water Bourne INSYX. I used it over perfectly prepared fiberglass. Am washing it off now after a whopping 4 months. At first everything was fine- for months. Then it started chalking up. White foot prints on the pool deck. Then goop. It turned back into liquid paint again! Like thin sour cream. I can wash it off with garden hose. What a mess. Thanks INSL X.
hello, my in ground pool liner was very old, few days ago I decided to drain the water and check if the floor is concrete, and yes it’s concrete, walls and the floor all concrete, can you tell me please If it’s okay for me to paint it instead of ordering new liner???? .. plus finding someone to install it, it’s takes a lot of time and my budget is low, thanks for your great advices!
I am not an expert but I do know that even though the concrete is cured it is still very porous and will suck up the water leading to degradation of the concrete. Play it safe and stick with the liner.

I wouldn't use Flex Seal, or any silicone products. Chlorine will wear down silicone. I wouldn't paint a pool at all. Just use concrete again. There's many variables as to why your pool is leaking. Roots from trees, the type soil below the pool, etc. Get a pro to do an analysis.

what brand epoxy did you use?
@@steveg7683 its called "into the swim" epoxy, after I epoxied I only shock once a month saves me almost 20 bucks of chemicals a month

Hi there, roughly 300-400 square feet per gallon, should get you 2 coats depending on how well it is prepped. So, between 3-4 gallons give or take.
