Today we started the first session of the Gem class at Rathnapura gem market.
We are not teaching gemology.
We are conducting this class for you to study about the Rathnapura gem market and the nature of the gem business. You can study gemology from the university. It is not enough knowledge to do gem business at the gem market.
There are many business men with experience. So we should respect them. And also sometime they may have artificial gemstones. At that moment should not be argue with them about the quality of gem stone.
Another thing is when person give gemstone to you. You should identify the person carefully. And also there may be more than one person. You should not confuse and you can check gemstone from each and every person one by one.
At the first round you should not offer price for it. The reason is that the gem stone has a value. If we offer a price less than the actual value it may resulted to loss connection with that gem business men.

Special thing is that we can’t do gem business with selfish mind. If we want to be a good gem business man we should be a selfless person.
Today I will introduce you a Sri Lankan gem business man in Russia. And I will add him to our WhatsApp group. Then you can upload photos of your gem stone to that group. Then he can buy those stones if he like it.
I spent more than 2 years to learn these things and buy a good quality gem in this market. You can easily learn these things. And also I will introduce you good network of gem business men.
Let’s start today session. Today we will talk about spinal. When you go to gem market you should look at spinals more and more. We started our session near the clock tower. New comers can join with us at this place. We will learn about spinal gemstone in practically in this place. Next we will move to the market near the mango tree. This is another place of the gem market at Rathnapura gem market.
So we hope that you may get many things from our video. And especially this program to make a good gem business men more and more. I want to tell special thing for you. We all are scarifies our time and money to join for this program. I come to Rathnapura from Chillaw by spent my time for you. One person has blamed us because of his own delay to the class. We start our class at 8 am. And we wait thirty minutes from this place.
I don’t like to give my knowledge to selfish and arrogant person. They don’t know the value of human resources.
Students are organizing this class. They them self-have made all the arrangements for the class. So we can’t make any changes just for one person. The country is going down like this because of the people with such bad attitudes towards like that.
We normally arrange class on Saturdays. So let’s meet with new session.
