Author Katrina Goldsaito Reads "The Sound of Silence" and Peg the Lamb makes a guest appearance!

Author Katrina Goldsaito reads her beautiful children’s book The Sound of Silence, leads a meditation, and answers questions from participants. Peg the lamb is one of our quadruplet lambs who had her leg broken when she was only a few days old. Now, after a cast, she is all healed and healthy!
The Sound of Silence is about a young boy’s journey through a busy city in pursuit of ma - the Japanese concept of the silence between sounds. As Katrina writes “The elasticity of time as Yoshio appreciates all the sounds around him is part of the Zen goal of being in the moment. In the end, the concept of ma is what Yoshio searches for and eventually finds, and ma is the silence that you, too, can find in the spaces between sounds.”
Join Katrina as she virtually visits Weir River Farm’s Barnyard to read this beautiful story and engage in a discussion at a time when we are all seeking new spaces to find stillness and renewal.
