@@raindancer6111 Hi, Rain Dancer. Good to hear from you! Excellent score for you as always All is well here. I hope the same for you and yours. Happy holidays.🎄☃️✌️💕
7 of 10 plus the bonus. Missed the VHS question because I thought I remembered Sony used to claim they invented VHS and then moved on to develop BetaMax. Turned out they'd invented the first VCR back in 1964 but it was very sketchy. And 2 or 3 more formats over the next 10-12 years before VHS or Beta.
6/10 plus bonus. I have an interesting reason for knowing the answer to the Titanic question. When my ex's grandmother was 2, she and her family moved from England to Canada. They were supposed to be on the Titanic and had actually checked their luggage when there was a last minute glitch in the sale of their pub. The father told his wife to take the girls on the Titanic and he would take the next ship out and meet up with them in New York. But his wife said that families should travel as families and they all stayed behind and caught the next ship out. What ship did they end up sailing on? The Carpathia.
9 out of 10 on the main and I got the bonus. The news of Hillary reaching the summit was delayed by a week so that it didn’t get lost among the news about Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation in 1953
I missed three of the regulars and missed the bonus by one year.. I thought it was 52 that Hillary climbed the mountain But that was the year I was born.. good quiz!
Bucephalus is also the name of Father Brown's bicycle, in the tv show anyways. Not sure about the G.K. Chesterton stories. Also, the ship that saw the Titanic going down and could have helped but waited until after others had helped first, was the Mount Temple even though another ship (one of the four options, so I won't spoil the quiz by saying) & captain was blamed during the US & UK inquiries ... 7/10, no bonus.
Got them all except #6. Not a horse racing fan so I was clueless. And the video cassette question had been asked by you once before quite a while ago. The same company that made my quadraphonic receiver/amplifier.
Did pretty well. I missed 5 and 6. I also missed the bonus question but only by a couple of years (I guessed 1955). So not too bad, considering that some of these were pretty obscure.
Well . . . definitely not my best result. Got 5 out of 10 right. Lucked out on the bonus. I knew the decade for sure and that it was in the the earlier part of that particular decade, so, I took an educated guess which turned out to be a lucky guess as well. Thanks for the challenging quiz Mister Quizster!
8 out of 10 with no bonus. Didn't know the make of Dean's car and the horse racing question was a bit too obscure for a non-American. No idea of the exact year Hillary climbed Everest. Just knew it was in the mid 1900s.
8/10 + bonus which I only ever remember because it happened the same year my parents married. I missed #4 and #6. Fun quiz, again Mister Quizster. Thank you!

That was embarrassing so I’m not going to list my score. 😅 It was fun though! Thanks, Mr. Quizster!
My pleasure👍
Boy do I feel dumb
Ouch…4/10…very tough
Did pretty well. I missed 5 and 6. I also missed the bonus question but only by a couple of years (I guessed 1955). So not too bad, considering that some of these were pretty obscure.
7/10 no bonus 😢. Thanks.
7/10
These were challenging questions. I only got 4 out of 10 despite being a history buff.
7 out of 10. I got carpathia correct because my 8yr old grandson loves everything titanic.
Seven correct but no bonus.
7/10 and no bonus.
I was one year early on the bonus.
Well . . . definitely not my best result. Got 5 out of 10 right. Lucked out on the bonus. I knew the decade for sure and that it was in the the earlier part of that particular decade, so, I took an educated guess which turned out to be a lucky guess as well. 5/10, no bonus
8 out of 10 with no bonus.

5/10, missed the bonus by one year.
8, did not know the bonus.
One small correction. St. Jeanne d'Arc isn’t the Patron saint of France. She’s a secondary patron whereas “the” Patron saint of France is St. Denis

9/10 Missed the bonus.
I did real bad lol
8/11. I'm real old.
I knew I would do poorly but good lord. 1/10
Question 7, the people didn’t die in the explosion, they died from the poisonous gas (methyl isocyanate) that was released after the explosion.
I flunked, but well.
8/10 + bonus which I only ever remember because it happened the same year my parents married. I missed #4 and #6. Fun quiz, again Mister Quizster. Thank you!
