ABOUT THE BAND
One of the first German punk bands with English lyrics... As early as 1982, the band's first LP from the Ruhr area was released... In the same year, the group appeared as the main band at the first gig of the Toten Hosen in Bremen... In 1985, they were the first German punk rock band to tour the United States for six weeks... The '80s and early '90s were the most successful period for their production, tours and recordings... In addition to releasing various records, they earned a reputation as a powerfull live act, which they also proved as "special guests" of others punk great performers as such as Dead Kennedys, Bad Religion, UK Subs and many others.
The first line-up consisted of Anton (vocals, guitar), Uli (guitar), Crocker (bass) and Mario (drums)... In 1989, the line-up and also the musical line style have changed with Alex (drums) and Chris (guitar), who brought new influences when jumped into the band... The songs changed, away from fast-paced and political hardcore punk, to a sound that did justice to both parts of the word punk rock... The CDs released in the following years and also their stage shows were often compared to the USA band Social Distortion.
In the spring of 2003 they gave their last concert on board a chartered excursion steamer boat on the river Rhine... After a quite long hiatus, finally in April 2022, there were isolated activities of the band, such as a concert in Essen, followed by a recent period with increased activity... In fact the band is now regourlarly playing in various gigs and festivals.
