The New Balance "Dad Shoes" are very comfortable. Only sneaker I could wear for a long time. Depending the model. I don't think they are dad shoes. LOL..

Wow! Small world. I grew up in Flat Rock and we went to Edinburgh often including going to the swimming pool in summer. When I got married I moved south to Salem Indiana but my parents stayed in Flat Rock until they passed away

I have wide big feet and I buy those shoe New Balance that look like those size ten and they are so comfortable. They don't make women shoes to fit me but I wear size 8 1/2 or 9's. I don't see them as old man shoes. I see them as I can walk all day in them.

I work on my feet so good sneakers have always been a must and my go to are always Nike and has been for 30+ years. I ordered a pair recently in my size. Well, when they came I couldn't get them onto a quarter of my foot!! I ordered from Kohl's so just took them back to get store credit and find something different if I had to. I found the same sneaker there. I am an 8.5 and have been since I was 12. Can get away with a 9 on occasion. I am not a wide per say but kind of if that makes any sense. An in-between. My feet will swim in most wide's but "normal" is a little tight but that is what I get as the kind I get will stretch. Well, I ended up walked out with a size 10 WIDE and they fit perfect just like the 8.5's I had on when shopping!! Same toe room and everything! It was really odd! I never in a million years would have ordered myself a 10w in anything!! Apparently not just Nike either as I took my 76 year old mother with me as she loves the non-tie Sketcher's. She is a 6.5 (she is tiny) and found the exact same pair she had on and was about to grab them and call it a day. I made her try them on and yup...she ended up with an 8! Again, same fit, toe room and everything that she had on! I am stumped!! Side by side identical length and everything. Just so weird!!
