Funfact about that Route to Lake of Rage: You can find Magikarp up to Level 50 while using surf there. Just give it a Rare Candy and you have a overleveled Gyarados Level 51 which can hit like a truck basically😂 Sometimes i use this in my plays
At that point in the game it's like a freight train.😅
Shing Gyrarados is so angry, he needs some ASMR

It is something I am very interested in learning and trying! although I find it difficult control the volume of my voice! I love your heart gold videos. Especially cause I played through it on an emulator again recently and then decided to shiny hunt on my ds for the starters and finally got my own totodile. I was hoping for cyndaquil, however I traded them over and will masuda for him!

It’s sooo funny that gyarados is level 30. While you can go either direction, going east from ecruteak city is a little more difficult than going west first iirc
Edit: so sad to see flaaffy go for a second water type. Togetic isn’t great because you can’t get togekiss until post-game and your eevee will learn psychic moves as an espeon. I’m really glad you’ve been keeping sandy though, sandslash is so cool

fun fact, when I went through the rocket hideout, I was on the exploding pokemon tiles and got a koffing, then voltorb and thought abscently "Imagine if I got a shiny geodude" and then a beautiful golden geodude appeared on my screen and I was like WOOOT and I named him GoldNugget :>

I feel like i should mention that you can’t actually buy the evolution stones in Heart Gold the only way to get them in the johto region are from trainers calling or by winning the bug catching contest

@@Wolfpack_-gp5ij according to serebii those are the only options in johto once you get to kanto if you show bill’s grandpa certain pokemon he gives you the stones
You can also get the Evolution stones from the Pokeathalon Dome for 2500-3000 Athlete Points
