I can't even explain how happy it makes me that he makes his songs in Chinese 😭 I am always searching for new musics and I've found it difficult to find Chinese songs in the style I like, but him making these Chinese versions solves my problem 😭 Him and Zhou Shen are all that give me life at this point.

Which is why I mentioned that it's so hard to find Chinese songs in this style 😭 The aspect that I like most about Zhou Shen is his voice and his incredible versatility! He usually does slower songs that showcase his absolutely beautiful vocals. His songs always make me cry. I mentioned him in my comment because he has a light, soothing voice like Alec. However, that said, he does a lot of covers and live performances for songs in a similar style to Alec! Zhou Shen has a very, _very_ wide discography (only a few albums, but also 80+ OSTs and 30+ singles) and I have not yet listened to all of it yet. So I'll just list a few of my favorites of his that I have heard: 1. Live cover of 身騎白馬 (Riding a White Horse) by 徐佳瑩 (Xu Jiaying) - Zhou Shen did this cover first on Masked Singer while dressed as a girl (so don't be surprised if that's the first search to pop up 😅). This is by far my favorite. I love this song and his voice, together it is perfect! 2. 哥哥 (Older Brother) - from album 深的深 (shen de shen) - Not same style, but oh my goodness, his vocals are breathtaking in this song. Not a "catchy" song or anything, but if you want to listen to something beautiful and cry, then this is perfect. 3. 玫瑰与小鹿 (The Rose and the Deer) - from album (shen de shen) - Not same style either, but it is a very cute and happy and light song. 4. 大魚 (Big Fish) - OST for 大鱼海棠 (Big Fish and Begonia) - Actually, this song is not one of my favorites, but I mention it because it is his most famous and the one that skyrocketed him to fame in 2016. It is still a beautiful song! Just thought I'd mention it since it is the one all Zhou Shen fans will know :) 5. Live cover of 她說 (She Said) - sung with Rainie Wang on Masked Singer (he is dressed like girl here too haha) - I really like this song, so with his vocals, it is so beautiful. Rainie has pretty voice too and this cover is incredible. I wish there was a studio version. 6. 回聲 (Echoes) - OST for 那片星空那片海 (The Starry Night and the Starry Sea) - Just a very beautiful song. I think if you listened to all the above, you will probably see his style emerging. It's very soft and light, but also with beautiful strong vocals. 7. 我是你的誰 (Who Am I to You) - Most recent song on this list. So I really like the melody of the first half of the song and his vocals in the bridge, but I really . . . dislike the instrumentals. It's a shame, if this was acoustic like in Alec style, I would really love it. Maybe I can hope Alec will do a cover haha. For his music, all of it will be on NetEase Music, but a lot is only available with paid subscription. For live performances, I think you can find on Bilibili too. There are some mass videos on RUclips of his songs, so this works too if you want to listen to everything and see which ones you like. Also, if you know what song to look up, it should be on RUclips; it's just hard to find if you don't know what to search. Summary: Zhou Shen's strength is in his vocals and incredible control and versatility. His songs are beautiful, but they are not same as Alec's style. However, he also has some OST and covers that are this style. @@rain_huaa Good luck with learning Chinese! I assume you mean Mandarin specifically? I knew Cantonese before learning Mandarin so I think my experience with learning Mandarin is not the same as you, but one tip I have is to first learn all the tones and possible pronunciations (there is a finite number of these as Chinese has no alphabet). Then when you learn the characters, try not to rely too much on pinyin. Instead, try to associate the sound directly with the character. Pinyin is a good learning tool, but to truly understand the language, you have to be able to read a character directly! It may seem like an obvious thing, but I have seen this problem happen quite a bit. Also, "Pleco" is a very useful app for learning Chinese. It's a Mandarin-English dictionary and it is free. You can make flash cards and sort them into categories as you learn, and then make "tests" with these flash cards. I think it also has OCR capabilities? There is a Cantonese extension, but you have to pay for that. Hope this helps! 加油！

Summary: Zhou Shen's strength is in his vocals and incredible control and versatility. His songs are beautiful, but they are not same as Alec's style. However, he also has some OST and covers that are this style. @@rain_huaa Good luck with learning Chinese! I assume you mean Mandarin specifically? I knew Cantonese before learning Mandarin so I think my experience with learning Mandarin is not the same as you, but one tip I have is to first learn all the tones and possible pronunciations (there is a finite number of these as Chinese has no alphabet). Then when you learn the characters, try not to rely too much on pinyin. Instead, try to associate the sound directly with the character. Pinyin is a good learning tool, but to truly understand the language, you have to be able to read a character directly! It may seem like an obvious thing, but I have seen this problem happen quite a bit.
Also, "Pleco" is a very useful app for learning Chinese. It's a Mandarin-English dictionary and it is free. You can make flash cards and sort them into categories as you learn, and then make "tests" with these flash cards. I think it also has OCR capabilities? There is a Cantonese extension, but you have to pay for that.

Another thing I would like to tell Alec ,the singer, he is a very trained singer ,it seems. I like the texture of his voice. It's tuned to near perfection. I ,being a vocalist myself , am very excited to hear him come up with new songs .
