I don't know, I haven't tried. It looks like it screws on, but I haven't done anything towards taking it off. If it isn't threaded, you can get aftermarket threaded outer barrels that will fit in this gun.

I got this gun a while ago and I still love it. I'm just having trouble finding a good accessory for it.
Could always benefit from a light. I personally run Streamlight TLR-1s on my pistols, they're pretty solid lights and I really like them a lot.

Nope, shouldn't be too hard. You can find aftermarket barrels pretty easily.
I have always liked the 1911. I didn't know it held 25+1. That's awesome! I think mine is 15 or something!
This specific model can hold 25+1 based on how the magazine is designed. My 1911 TAC holds 16+1.

I just filed mine down a bit to make it less obnoxious. Couldn't get it off though.
