*Description
IoT-based green parking using Arduino with an EV charging slot, is an innovative solution that integrates smart technology for efficient parking management and electric vehicle (EV) charging. This project focuses on creating eco-friendly parking spaces, equipped with IoT sensors that monitor available parking spots and provide real-time updates to drivers. By combining Arduino with IoT, the system ensures seamless parking management, while the EV charging slots help support the growing demand for electric vehicles in India.
*Objectives
To ensure reliable power delivery to the system components using a solar-charged battery and a 7805-voltage regulator for stable 5V output.
To detect vehicle presence in each parking slot using IR sensors and display slot status (filled or vacant) on a 16x2 LCD screen.
To provide efficient charging for electric vehicles using a pulse generator module and circular copper coils installed in parking slots.
To monitor ambient temperature to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Activate a buzzer if the temperature exceeds a predefined threshold (if included in the system).

Methodology
Solar and IOT based Smart Parking with Wireless charging for EV system operates by utilizing a solar-charged battery to provide power through a 7805-voltage regulator, ensuring a stable 5V output for the Arduino and other components. The Arduino is central to the system, managing various functions based on inputs from IR sensors and controlling outputs such as servos and the LCD display. Four IR sensors in each parking slot detect the presence of vehicles, and this information is shown on a 16x2 LCD screen to indicate whether each slot is filled or vacant. Additional IR sensors at the entry and exit gates control the operation of the gates: the entry gate opens if a car is detected and there is at least one available slot, while the exit gate opens when a car leaves a slot. If all parking slots are occupied, the entry gate remains closed to prevent further cars from entering. For electric vehicle charging, a secondary Arduino with a pulse generator module sends pulses to a circular copper coil embedded in each parking slot. When a car with a compatible receiving coil parks in the slot, an induced EMF provides power to charge the vehicle. The system also displays the charging status and generates a billing notification on the 16x2 LCD when a car is detected in a slot ESP8266-01 Wi-Fi module will provide access to web server on which these details will be displayed, ensuring efficient parking management and convenient vehicle charging.
