Nezza obviously still had issues from her past relationships that she needs to work on. Nezza probably put herself out there for Vince. I mean... they were in it the first two months then things went downhill with her mental health, losing Corey, and a bunch of other things.
I mean aside from personal things we may not be aware of, we are aware of the things she dealt with such as Corey (rest in peace). Its kinda bad to start something new when you're already in a not so great spot yourself, and I doubt losing a close friend on top of that is good for letting you focus on developing a new relationship. Sometimes you think you're ready to put yourself out there and then you do and you just clam up. It's best for people to take things at their own pace. If anything, it's so smart for her to realize she isn't ready and back out. It would be worse and unfair to Vince for her to keep pushing herself to just see it through, only to realize she shouldn't have and then call things quits after like a year of dating. Now that's messed up, bc then it's like "if you knew early on you weren't comfortable or sure about things, why'd you keep going?". You should never have to force yourself to keep up with someone. It's not a negative note on Vince's character, it's just a note on the fact that right now it seems like Nezza seems most comfortable with the people already in her circle and herself. And that romance just might not be it right now.
Speaking from personal experience, when you feel like that, sometimes thinking "ok I'll force myself to just go out there anyway" is the most damaging thing you can do to your own health. And you probably end up hurting someone else in the process.
