Personally I let mine dry over at the end and then took a jar with water, I put wrap over it and poked holes into where I then put the leaves in. I have gotten many succulents propagated that way and I ended up propagating a few.

@@LeafMeAlonePlants I was sure that it wouldn't work to, because they almost never work. But I have propagated some stunning succulents from it!
It works I don’t water until I see roots. Whenever I tired to keep them wet like most people say do they always rot
Yes I have had that problem too, I've noticed my donkey tail leaflets will root themself without water so maybe that's the way to go

My chocolate soldier is curling, some leaves are folding and the leaves feel soft when I squeeze them a little. Is there anything I can do to help that?
Hey Hannah, Typically when leaves start curling my first thought is the plant needs water, has the soil been dry for a prolonged period of time?

It depends if they are hard and plump this just means they are full of water this is good and a sign of a healthy plant.
Conversely if they are hard and thin this may mean it is very dehydrated and I would go in with some water.
Its hard to know for sure without seeing it but I hope this helps!
