Subscribed yeah i like your vid mate old School method done on the cheap i like it
Thanks mate 👍
I definitely wouldn’t bother with it anything before xh is dodgy as the front end is still the old draglink set up with a steering box as the xh had a proper front end power rack and k frame anyway cool video on your dodgy car yard cheap refreshing 😂work like anything you pay for what you get drop a LS in it then your talking
Done well there mate, i bought a 1989 model in similar condition from SA, five and a half G's with more rust than yours. But slightly better interior was already lowered, tinted, dual fuel a/c pwr steer. I've spent more than you to get it half decent. You have done well man, good on you having a go. Cheers. btw i'm in VIC.
Thanks mate
Looks great!
Thanks mate, has a nice look about it without looking to boganized.
@@copperheadkustoms and kept the crossflow,(Cool). Not many seem to do that on the old you tube. This is how i would like mine to finish up looking too.
Yeah everything is either LS1 or barra swapped, the positive is you can pick up all the motors they pull out for next to nothing, not every car has to have big hp. Have a look at the bedford I built with a 202 in it, it breaks necks everytime I take it out.
Had a xd ute many years back. Crashed it. Not to bad but outa my budget to fix at the time. But love these utes. Bf wagon now its nice cruiser. But yer have always missed that ute 30 years later. Cheers great vid
Yeah it brought back memories doing this 1 for me aswell
Yip fullas want these. Will sell easy id say.
Yeah sold pretty much straight away
i want this
It's up for sale in Queensland mate
Great job. Had mine 8 yrs ex cop car with rims and papers . Doing yearly paint job. drive to work . when suspenion done there a good Driver for the year.Door Latches handlels and hinges .What was Ford thinking.
Yes I remember when I was 18 we were forever replacing the door handles on the xd
This sort of ute that you have bought would look good even if you put a canopy on it. So that way you can use it as a sleeper when you go camping maybe?
I have subscribed 1st time today. Cheers from Bill.
Mount Gambier, South Australia.
Hey Bill thanks for subscribing. We were from S.A originally.
I thought mine was relatively rust free till I checked under the peep window trim. Have you checked there yet? Anyway sick car enjoyed this video.
Yeah mate checked there, car was solid as. Glad you enjoyed the vid thanks for watching. Have heaps other projects happening
that's a tidy lookin rig
Thanks mate
G'day mate, awesome work. I am going to flip a leaf on my 93 XG next weekend. Just wondering. How much drop do you think you'd get just flipping the second bottom leaf (as you did) but without installing the block - leaf only. Cheers!
Still a fair bit. I'd say atleast 2 inches. If you look at the footage of when I got it the height compared to finish product I'd say it dropped atleast 4 inches maybe more they were 2 inch blocks
@@copperheadkustomsawesome mate thanks for the reply, righto that might be all I need, see how it pans out, cheers!
Great transformation. Pity i had to watch the whole thing on mute due to that terrible music.
Can't please everyone

The headlights are cheap ????
I just repainted the 1 on this car as it was done on a tight budget to show what can be created for little money
Have much issue with over heating?
None
What height are those front springs mate
Pretty sure they were ssl from memory I can check receipt if you want
Music is awful, love the car work though
Where did you get the cover from I see it's flat with no bar
Just of ebay was around $90 was going to make a bar but it didn't need it
Copperhead Kustoms did it stretch at all?
@@grooby1733 not while I had it
@copperhead kustoms I see someone's trying to sell it
@@grooby1733 I swapped it for the ls1 statesman that's on the channel to some young bloke probably shouldn't have as the statesman was rougher than I thought but turned it into a decent car in the end.
Would you sell it?
